The upper 'beak' is a resonance chamber. To create a deep vibrating sound, just like a horn. That's why they are called Hornbills.

SDR is a surgery some children with cerebral palsy undergo to help relieve spasticity, thus decreasing pain, tightness, and spasming, and greatly increasing quality of life. It is not a minor surgery and recovery is long and full of hard work by the child. My daughter adores flowers and helping me in the garden and was very nervous for the surgery. My sister (who we are very close with) gave my daughter this plant (peony I believe she said) the week before we traveled across the country for her surgery. My daughter was delighted! Hope this helps clear up the story a bit!

The river there is teeming with tasty American Signal Crayfish - which seeing as they're an invasive species it's illegal to put any back that just. you know 'happen' to wander into a box smeared with spam that you accidentally drop into the water for a few minutes.
