"White sandy beaches are still a must-visit for many, with vibrant cities also making an appearance on a lot of people’s bucket lists," says Clayton-Lea, the head of the content at Big 7 Travel. In fact, countries with naturally beautiful scenery and world-famous landmarks came out on top: 22% of the destinations on the list have white sandy beaches, while 52% are iconic cities.

That was my first thought. I don't see a heated blanket, baseboard or space heaters, nothing. Even the blanket that's there doesn't look warm enough.

Somebody said this was a resort, maybe you can't live there but you can stay there and visit for a few days at least, and I'd come stay at this resort in a heartbeat if I can have a room like that. To me, this is majestic

Pass. I don't like being cold, and how frikkin' hard would it be to change the sheets on that bed? No thanks. Plus this really isn't a "home" as the BP title would suggest - it's a small resort.

What kind of glass is that? You'd freeze your *** off if it's regular glass.
This is insanely gorgeous, but I wonder how on earth this room could be properly heated? I don't see any evidence of a heating system or radiators. Maybe there's a fireplace at the foot of the bed? The beauty is perfection, but unless there's a heating system, there's no way that single duvet is enough to keep the resident(s) from freezing!

Bored Panda reached out to Jolene and Andrzej Ejmont, the serial travelers and creators of family travel blog “Wanderlust Storytellers” to find out some tips that you will find useful in case you set out on a mission to visit any of these places.“It's no secret that often things go against the plan while traveling. But the best way to ensure that your mood stays good, even when things go not according to plan, is to pre-plan the ‘buffer time’ for when you are at a particular destination,” the Ejmont family told us. “For example: if you are going to Rome for three days exploring, book four days to be safe. And if that doesn’t help, there’s always cocktails, chocolate and ice cream.”
Moreover, little details count when you travel and hiring a car without a GPS is such an easy mistake to make, but it can surely make your travel go sour. “It is so much better to rely on the GPS than your personal phone’s maps. It doesn’t matter then if you happen to have no reception on your mobile phone,” Andrzej said.
When asked whether, in their opinion, people are generally more experienced at traveling these days, the Ejmont family said that’s definitely the case. “People are slowly venturing out to more and more of less-travelled destinations and experiencing travels like never before.”
“This, of course, creates more understanding for travel and as a side effect, enriches more and more souls with tolerance, humility and compassion,” Andrzej told us.

Some are too big, some are too people-ly but all of them are beautiful in their own way. Give me a small home, large acreage for my dog to run and not too close to people and I'm good.
Yeah, there was quite a bit that didn't disclose the location, but there also quite a bit that did, some of em had captions/brief summaries underneath the pics while others had comments from people who knew where the pictures came from, due to remarkable Geography intelligence and living in or near the areas personally. That's part of the reason I like scrolling through the comments xD

Beautiful places, but it would have been nice if BP would have bothered to let us know where ALL of them are located.
Sure beautiful windows look nice in a photo, and if it rained it would be cool, but if it's sunny you would fry.
I'm allergic to a majority of this list. The rest of them I'd love to visit.
Ugh. I feel like this is a collection of places that rich people live. But I know that there are plenty of wild untouched parts of the world where poor people live too.

All are the same in that they are still life's caught in a moment of perfection. All are beautiful in their own way but I can't look at any one of them without think of the real life aspect of maintaining them so they continue looking like this or the real life aspect that the novelty of the place would wear off quickly (#4 especially quick).
Loads of these look amazing, but a problem with a lot of them is what happens at 9pm when you realise that you don't have enough milk for breakfast. It must be miles till the nearest tesco
