When exploring new content on Instagram, do you ever so often happen to come across accounts with very particular content that has the power to unnerve you? Yet, at the same time, it's so fascinating, you can't force yourself not to look. Well, for better or for worse, we have a special treat for you today.
We would like to present a young American artist of 24 years, Hunter Scheiderer, from Los Angeles. He draws weird and dark comics which are oddly quite mesmerizing to look at. The catch is, his short scary stories are completely absurd, true pearls of a dark sense of humor. With almost 100K followers on Instagram, Hunter manages to be unpredictable in his art defying common sense. There's only one sure thing, the best place to appreciate his dark cartoon drawings is under a blanket.
You might wonder what drives the artist to make these short horror stories? And the answer is his social anxiety, an evil that has widely spread among artists in their twenties. According to Hunter, what's most important is that simple drawing ideas can be turned into something very interesting with the help of weirdness.
There's no doubt that this artist has already found his very own style, and below are some of his webcomics which we hope you will like!

That’s what blood donors U can never trust then 🤔🤔🤣
Load More Replies...Interesting that his expression becomes happier as he loses more blood.
I like how he just curls in on himself. Once I saw the last panel I immediately copied the shriveled dude. Then Denki copied me and it just kinda kept going...
It becomes the lotion or else it gets the hose again ....

The calendar shows what takes up most of his brain space at different times.
Also you can see he’s got bad eating habits, the soda and donuts on his papers.
Load More Replies...55 year from now. I should print this out and see how close I get to this prediction
This was one of my biggest fears as a child. Along with quicksand, which didn't turn out to be as much of a problem as I had feared.
Valid fear. I sat on one once and didn't get up in time at the base, it tore the backside out of my pants and undies ... At a crowded train station .... Had to walk home with hands over my bum. Can't comment on quicksand though.
Load More Replies...Oh this actually sadly hastened in China, a mother and hey cold were riding an escalator and the panel fell through. The mom died.
Actually, and sadly, this occasionally happens: https://edition.cnn.com/2015/07/27/china/chinese-mother-killed-escalator/index.html
My friends dad worked on repairing them and he said he always found fingers and toes!!
Ever since lockdown ended, i always felt uneasy on an Escalator because i might loose my balance and fall off, trip, or what’s happening to the person in the comic
I was SO afraid of that I would jump over the thing and make my parents do it too lol
"How the hell did those Taiwanese pack it in there in the first place?!!".
Having to spend or give kids money from the moment they are born. Perhaps
If you’re pretty, you’re pretty; but the only way to be beautiful is to be loving. Otherwise, it’s just “congratulations about your face.” — John Mayer
You are beautiful in your own way, embrace that. You don't have to look like a top model. You are special in your own way.
I wear one and I can confirm it's to make sure those f*****s don't escape

Load More Replies...From different perspectives (or the remaining innocence you have), it can appear as a Tic Tac (Honestly i’d do this too) or it can appear as pills
I don't read this as attempted suicide, I see it as we take pills to fix ourselves (especially antidepressants) and he is taking a lot to try and make himself better (happier).
And who’s twisting the tube to separate the sausages?
Load More Replies...Laws are like sausages.. when you learn how they're made, it can ruin your breakfast.
What r he wish for? Even the black shadow (I think its satan) was shocked!?
What does this remind you of? Because the last picture reminds me of SOMETHING but I can't figure out what.
Load More Replies...Always makes me sad to see fish in bowls and birds in cages, even if they were born to it. Can't help thinking they still need the oceans and skies
Damn it, man! Get that poor thing a bigger bowl & stop feeding it Cheetos!
Every one of these was disturbing. So naturally I looked at every damn one.
I wouldn't want to have to live in this person's head. And I really didn't need to see these.
