This Tattoo Artist Uses Unconventional Body Parts As His Canvas, Here Are His 23 ‘Secret’ Tattoos On The Roof Of The Mouth
If you have always wanted a tattoo, but you are not sure if you want to have your skin permanently inked in visible places, this might be a perfect solution for you. Belgian tattoo artist Indy Voet places secret tattoos on a hidden body part that probably only your dentist will be able to spot—the roof of the mouth.
Voet, who’s also a former body piercing artist, has been exploring unconventional body parts such as eyelids, ears, or gums as canvases for his artistry for four years. For work in this delicate and quite small area, he uses a handpoking technique with a needle, and according to his clients, it’s not as painful as it might seem.
How cool or weird is this idea? Would you get a tiny tattoo on the roof of your mouth? Let us know in the comments!

My guess: a moon and a little star (like on the flag of Turkey)
Load More Replies...I would do a star. I have a star on back of my neck, one on each wrist and one on each ankle.
"whew. it smells like something DIED in you mouth." "wel, actually..."
Look at that tongue, it almost a guarantee of your statement. The artist must not have a sense of smell
Load More Replies...I thought so too... but if you look closely guy #1 still has his wisdom teeth while guy #2 hasn't :) But the ressemblance from this angle is uncanny!
Load More Replies...She has a bunch on the inside of her hand too. Never thought of that...
It says Om. It is a sacred sound and a spiritual symbol in Indian religions.
Load More Replies...I'm thinking that the angle doesn't show a lot of the features we usually use to distinguish faces so they sort of blend together. The similar beard colour probably plays into it as well.
Load More Replies...yep! suprised you knew (not saying you're dumb, i just don't know a lot of people knew).
Load More Replies...I'm more curious about why you would want to stretch your septum? 🤷♀️
This dude is a definite repeat offender. It's the stretchy septum buddy
why are people down voting, the tattoo artist is great!
Load More Replies...bruh what is the point of this. These tattoos are so useless and ugly. Nit trying to be mean but so are all of their teeth.
you are more disgusting than the tattoo. the tattoo is done well, and i bet ur teeth arent pretty either
Load More Replies...Reading your comment all I can think is "why did she open up this thread in the first place?!"
Load More Replies...It's self expression. It's just like getting a tattoo on your arm except this is a new frontier. Don't judge just because it's weird to you.
Load More Replies...This is a ridiculous trend. The inside of the mouth doesn't heal great, the ink falls out even with lip tattoos, you have to jam your hand up in someone's germy gross mouth and no one can see it anyway.
Instead of spending so much money on the tattoo, some of them should see a dentist!!
Absolutely! Just look at those wisdom teeth.
Load More Replies...Getting a tattoo is painful (I have 7), but this a new frontier in that department, I would imagine. I would also imagine this would make oral surgery rather pleasant--these people all had to be upside down for this procedure, that ink in their mouths (maybe like being water-boarded?) and I am also assuming they could not eat during the healing process. Yeesh...No thanks.
