These sarcastic and dark comics by Russian artist Anton Gudim are perfect for those who like to be challenged. While some are interesting social commentary, others are just plain absurd and a little disturbing. Many of these dark drawings will take certain knowledge and time to figure out. But all of them are very cool.

Anton is from Moscow and has been illustrating for as long as he can remember. “I drew all my life. In childhood, at school, in college,” he told Bored Panda. “I would draw cards and silly comics for my friends. It was always just a hobby for me because I have a technical education. I was always good at maths.”

While he is currently working full-time as an engineer, Anton would love the opportunity to turn his hobby into something more substantial and become a professional artist. For now though, he is happy to keep producing these imaginative and dark comics in his spare time. We are so glad that he does! Scroll down below to check out Anton’s amazingly cool drawings, and don’t forget to upvote your faves!

For many years, we were encouraged to pluck our brows, make them thin, or even draw them on. Now we are encouraged to expand our brows. Good grief. It's just silly.

Just don't do that. Think of all the dumb fashions people were trying 10, 20, 30 years ago that didn't last, and look hilariously silly now. Just be you. I know that's hard sometimes, but it lasts as long as it takes to achieve and renews every day you get it working. Big fake eyebrows are .... yeah ... silly.

I’m victim of being a teen in the 90’s and plucking them to thin lines!! I can just about make them like the second pic with eyebrow pencil

I think it's also a representation of how much we depend on likes to validate ourselves. A regular picture, like. A more defined (pretty) pic, more likes. an extravagant and over the top pic, more likes (attention) and by making yourself look outrageous and/or ridiculous one gets you the most attention.

Hamlets: Yes I agree with you completely. One must keep upping the bar to increase validation and don't seem to see or care when they lost sight of what is tasteful!

I grew up with "Brooke Sheilds' Brows," and got teased. Started plucking 'em thin in the 8th grade. FYI: they stop growing back at some point. Thank goodness I stopped before I had nothing left! The defining trend, say pic 2, is where this needs to stop. Please, people... Only do this if you are a performing clown.

I saw this as the kid inside breaking out the adult on the outside, not having to do with being fat at all.

What makes this unlikely is that those things always run out of hot water. I don't know how long it takes, but I do know that it is always happens about the same time I want some tea.

The ozone layer is healing... since 2000 it's been shrinking due to humans not producing chlorofluorocarbons.
