Jill Clark is the creator behind Jill Clark Comics, a heartfelt and humorous collection of illustrations that capture the joys, frustrations, and everyday chaos of parenthood. A stay-at-home wife and mother of three, she began drawing comics during the COVID lockdown as a way to process the ups and downs of family life, and quickly found a community of parents who connected with her relatable storytelling. Her work blends warmth and wit, turning the messy reality of parenting into something we can all laugh at and recognize ourselves in.
Now that her youngest daughter is in school, Jill is looking toward the next chapter. She’s eager to re-start her career after years at home. Her comics are not just art, but also a reflection of this transition—a reminder that life has seasons, and that balancing motherhood, identity, and career is a story worth sharing.

I did chores and didn't get an allowance, only told that when I'm living on my own I'm going to need to know things like how to sort the rubbish and mop the floor. It annoys me greatly that she was right..... 😉
I'd come home from school and be presented with a big cup of tea. Homework *first*. Don't change out of school uniform, don't look at the TV, don't anything until the homework has been done. It was much the same at boarding school.
Too bad the artist confused "break" with "brake"... Intentional?
Too true. I've been on both sides of this, as my Sister reminds me....
Contrary to most comments, I like this (very arty) "awkward", child-like style, contrasting with the clear and professional font of the speech bubbles. I find them quite amusing, it conveys the general sense of every day chaos, and comedy, I think.
Sorry, but I couldn't get past the second panel. The eyes just have a glassy stare and the faces have minimal expression at best, which gives no substance to the actual punch lines. Art style is one thing, but this really isnt capturing or delivering anything.
I only clicked through because I couldn't believe that someone would create such awful "illustrations". I was wrong. This is actual garbage.
