In her imaginative world, Bev, a character inspired by Krysten herself, takes center stage, offering a relatable perspective on the struggles we all face.
Krysten's charming style, influenced by cartoons and anime, emerged through practice and experimentation, resonating with a rapidly growing audience. "When I started in 2018 I wanted a way to consistently practice my drawing and writing skills but now my goal is to help people feel less alone with things they face in their life," the artist shared with Bored Pand.

Krysten's love for art started with cartoons in her childhood, especially anime and playful drawings. As she grew up and pursued graphic design, she felt a desire for something more. A chance discovery of webcomics inspired her to fully embrace her artistic side and create her own humorous brand.

I had a family dog called Biscuit who died recently; still miss that softy, he was such a good boy, even when he was stealing everyone's food.
"Each funny drawing depicts things I've experienced in my everyday life or things that happened just a few hours ago! My style came about just from practice and trial and error, I definitely draw inspiration from cartoons and anime."

Krysten has been making comics for a while, and her boyfriend and sister are her biggest inspirations. "Whenever I feel down about my comics or art, my boyfriend is there with uplifting words, always encouraging. My sister has been a constant support since day one, inspiring and helping me throughout my journey."

i don't think i could ever cuddle with anyone because of how hot it is where i live. i mean i could move, but still. and it gets hot enough sleeping alone so 🤷♀️

As an introvert with severe anxiety to the point where it makes me unconsciously but physically feel sick, thank you. We all need one person or more to take care of us, even when it's hard. I have a friend like that, but I have friendship attachment issues due to mild PTSD from primary school, so worrying if she'll stay my friend is tough.
