Inspiration can come in any shape or form, whether it is an idea, feeling, or our everyday life. For this particular artist, it was the imaginative conversations he wished he could have with his beloved dog.
What started as short dialogues, later turned into "Hey Buddy Comics" to be more visually appealing. Over time the drawing style has also changed, what started as illustrations of people drawn as people, now are portrayed as dinosaurs.
People with pets will definitely relate to all these stories and might even shed a tear for a few. So without further ado, let's jump right into these comics that might become your favorite. Oh, wow, this one hit me really hard. When Buddy died, I swore I was never, ever getting another dog, period. Around two months after his death, Mowgli shows up out of nowhere. At the time she was two months old. Now, she's a little over two years old and if she hadn't shown up that night and stubbornly decided to stay even though I was no where near ready for her, my life would have been bleak and sad and lonely. I miss Buddy each second of every day, he was our Sun, but now Mowgli is our little guiding Star.

I can't live without a dog in my life. But, I can't just immediately replace a dog either. My last little girl "Mia" she was in our life every day for 14 years. She came to us from our local Humane Society. I planned to take time to mourn. I was going to give myself a year. 3 months later I was in such bad shape, really bad shape, mentally, heartbroken. I asked my husband to please go back to the HS and pick me out a dog. Her name is Molly.

I seen an animated version of this comic on YouTube and almost started crying; my first dog with my family past away when I was 13 and when we got a new dog I kept saying "my dog's dead, and that's okay." Until one day I was sitting on our couch after having a bad day and my families dog jumped up beside me and snuggled in my lap. I teared up as I said "welcome home Buddy I missed you". Now whenever I go to my parents he gets really excited to see me

Clarification that might be needed, the old dog was named Buddy and whenever I was sad he would come and snuggle up to me to make me feel better, after he died I didn't have my support Buddy until Deeks (the new dog) came and snuggled up to me like Buddy used to.

The creator James Stewart, together with illustrator K Roméy, has several famous comic series apart from Hey Buddy Comics. Their other stories revolve around dinos. One in particular, Dinos & Comics, touches on the subject of depression where the characters find hope in each other, while another series, called Tortoise & Dino, tells a story of two friends exploring the world, and life, together.

The Instagram account dinosaurcouch has a whopping 4.2 million followers, and TikTok doesn’t fall far behind with 2.3 million followers. with big dogs you can be rough, wrestle, and they are usually nice, or laid back or something, easier to get along with. small ones you have to be more careful with, and they sassy AF, and ive found them to be braver? at least they pretend they are tough badasses 😅

A lap is the perfect animal bed, regardless of the size of that animal. And the lap is not allowed to move until the animal is ready to get up. That's the rule.

I had one dog (Ringo) that was like that. He escaped through the fence a couple times as a pup, and each time when I realised and went searching he was sitting patiently at the bottom of the front stairs waiting for me to find him. Mischief on the other hand appears to consider my house a POW camp and considers it her duty to get as far away as possible when she breaks out >_<

One of my dogs used to do this, she would run down the street, poop in someone's else's yard, and then come to the front door and bark to come in! I mean, thank goodness! I would have been devastated if anything happened to her!

My cat, only the time she escaped she spent the day wandering first. And then she showed back up at the back gate at night, meowing to be let in, confused as to why her human was so excited to see her.

Add one more dog and you have the background for name of the band Three Dog Night. Essentially, poor country folk used to let the dogs on the bed in winter to help keep them (the humans) warm. Supposedly they measured how cold the night was by how many dogs were needed to stay toasty. At least that’s what I heard decades ago.

this is kinda sad bc i remembered when my neighbor moved out they forgot their dog and never came back. i snuck the dog inside my house, ever since the day i snuck her in i became her owner. i miss u riri:(

I always pet the pets. One time I went to this party. The invitation stated no kids. Well, someone brought their kid and told the host to put their dog up. The host replied that the dog lives here. They left. Thank goodness.

I'm just thinking of that time lady Gaga's dogs got stolen for some reason but the knappers had to literally knock her walker unconscious because he was fighting like hell to keep the dogs safe (don't worry she got her dogs back, I hope the walker was ok tho)
