    The pot is terra cotta colored plastic. The glue is regular craft glue and it's finished with black slick dimensional fabric paint.

    This is exactly what I was looking for. I have an old, scratched table. The functionality and size of the table were perfect for a breakfast nook. Now that it is no longer needed for that, I am going to try to do this and when complete use the table to play games and work puzzles on. Thanks for sharing😉

    It looks similar to mosaic projects, which use grout. If you find mosaic directions they should apply. But grout, I think.

    Puffy fabric paint is used for the 'grout'. I think it looks awful - real grout is just as inexpensive and would look 100% better.
