It’s just part of human nature when things infuriate us all of a sudden. There’s even this whole phenomenon known as “Mildly Infuriating” and we previously wrote about it here, here and here.
However, in some cases, we experience a more severe kind of infuriation that is beyond mild. You can blame anything from a car that won’t start, annoying flight passengers sitting right next to you, a surprise call from tax inspection, a morning that started on the wrong foot, or yourself, it doesn’t change anything.

Yes. You can. Assuming that you have a knife or something else handy to cut the box with. Also assuming that it is not something you might easily damage by stabbing into the box. Plus, assuming that it is something you can easily grab & extract from the box - not another box, say. It’s even more fun when it’s just as wide, so you still can’t get it out, but they cram it in with all of your regular mail and magazines. Can you tell that I have some experience of this? You’d be right. And, like the OP, I send a pos upon their houses for doing this. It is a royal PITA.

Canada Post employees are supposed to ring your bell and give you the package when you answer the door. I think that is what that person meant. If they've tried and can't reach you, they leave you a notice to pick it up somewhere else, either your street postal box or at the post office nearest you. Problem with most employees is that they lie about trying to deliver it. I've had them leave the notice on my door more times than I can count when I've been at home.

The post person might not have those 2 minutes to drop it off at your door. People also expect free next day shipping as well, you can't have it both ways. I used to work at FedEx and the holiday season was brutal, I can't imagine what Amazon slavery job practices are doing.
Oh, this happened to me. I had to call my brother. We ended up cutting box carefully and taking content out.
I don't see what the issue is.. they put it in a secure spot and you could use scissors or a knife....
That happens to us to. It's like they don't realize that the opening is bigger on their side then yours. We also get packages crammed into our mailbox that clearly say in big, bold, red letters "DO NOT BEND" yet are bent anyway just so they fit.
Postal carrier here. If you want your deliveries to be handled different than regular mail then you have to pay for it. We have time expectations to meet. Or get a bigger mail box. Most "Do Not Bend" are junk non profit bulk mail

Package carriers are required by law to place items where they are supposed to be placed. It is neither our fault nor our responsibility to put them anywhere else.
It's not just Canada. The same thing happens here in the US. I've had to take a pocket knife and cut a box apart to get it out.
Canada Post once crammed two underwire bras into my mailbox, effectively rendering them useless.
I got tired of this happening to me, so I started calling the P.O. and they would send the delivery guy back. They get paid salary so driving back to my box cut into his time off. After a few times he quit doing it. I ran a business and I had one delivery 2-3 times a month that had a box that fit in from the back exactly, but the front has a small ledge so it wouldn't come out the front, he actually started dropping all my packages at work, about 10 ft from the box.
Yep, I've had to use a utility knife and tear a package to threads to get the insides out. The back where they put the package in is bigger than the front . It's pretty frustrating and takes about five min to cut and pull everything out. Az,usa

I HATE that flowers by the thousands are sent to the royal funerals. If people REALLY loved Diana and The Queen, money should be sent to their favorite charities. Flowers end up in the garbage. People need help every day. Money should be sent to ANY charity. And the royals take care of themselves.
The flowers ended up as composting so no wastage there. Also flowers are seen as a mark of respect at funerals. Also, it's work for florists and plant sellers after a very difficult couple of years.
