During labor, the pain is so great that a woman can almost imagine what a man feels when he has a fever.
How is it now? Jokes about women are sexist but about men is at the top in votes? I am confused…
It's making fun of what (SOME!!) men complain about. They say that women are exaggerating labour pains and period pains.
Load More Replies...Are you talking to all women? You know that was just one woman right?
Load More Replies...(I am 6 months pregnant) Me, after ordering my coffee: Stranger at Starbucks: you know you should be drinking decaf when you’re pregnant. Me: I’m... not pregnant. Stranger: (horrified) I am so, so sorry! And that’s what you get for giving unsolicited advice.
I once heard two women talking where one was telling another how a guy gave up his seat to her on train as he thought she was pregnant. She wasn't. She said I felt bad at first but then comfortable so she took his seat. Also when I got transferred in my job I was confused about a new colleague whether or not she is pregnant but I figured it out when during lunch other colleagues were giving her free advice.
It's unethical to lie, and it's unethical to do things while pregnant that can damage your child. That "unsolicited advice" is someone speaking up for a being who can't speak for themselves. This entry is terrible.
Drs say you can have 2 cups a day. Its actually worse if you drink a lot of coffee begore, then suddenly stop

What would be different if men were the ones who got pregnant? Maternity leave would last for two years with full pay, and morning sickness would rank as the nation’s number one health problem.
I'd like to see a movie where one morning the men are the ones who gets pregnant and they try to explain why the laws suddenly need changing now.
There is a movie call I'm not a easy man, that it's kind of that. It about a man who wakes up in a world where gender roles are reverse.
Load More Replies...There is one animal where the male is the one who gives birth.... seahorses! The female places her eggs into the male and when he is ready he goes into labour. Contractions and everything!!!
if that was the case then roles would be reversed, women were wrongfully considered "the weaker sex" because they were the ones to give birth. so if males were the ones who gave birth then they would wrongfully be considered "the weaker sex".
Their would be men complaining to their wife's being like you need to be pregnant not me!
Eh. We might get the day of birth off but then we'd be back to work. If we didn't, we'd get laid off. Trust me, guys get no pity for illness. I got yelled at for being in the hospital once a thousand miles from the office and my phone rang the whole time I was there with criticism and threats. I once didn't come in on my day off and was nearly fired. I was told I was being lazy for only working 50 hours a week and I needed to put in overtime and work all holidays. Men get crapped on just fine.
That's sad Janos and I hope you are able to find another job. The stereotype holds for a reason though. Last week I had such ridiculous period pain I passed out walking up stairs. I got plenty of sympathy because I work in a nice place, but I carried on working. Co workers brought me tea and pain killers - but I had to carry on teaching. I got home to find my husband watching Netflix as his boss (lady) sent him home because he had belly ache. I'm not saying it is the fault of men, but that's why us ladies sometimes grumble

I once noticed water slowly dripping from a spot on my living room ceiling. I went to the upstairs neighbor and knocked. He only opened the door a few inches and I told him about the water. He whispered, "Oh, ummm, that's probably the birthing tub. We'll take care of it." And then shut door.

No. Are you crying alone in your car, listening to a stupid Bette Midler song? No. When you wake up and throw up, is it because you’re nurturing a human life? No. It’s because you had too many shots of tequila.” - Mila Kunis
"We're having a baby" or "MY [S.O.] is pregnant," no, the one not actively growing a fetus is not pregnant
But both parties are "expecting a baby". They're just not both carrying it.

I am and have been a plus-size woman. When I was pregnant I walked into a maternity store looking for pants. They didn't have anything above a size 18. I mentioned/complained to a store clerk (quite young) and she said just wear a size bigger. I was so PISSED! I didn't want to look like an elephant! I ended up wearing spandex leggings the rest of my pregnancy.
I was happy, my daughter's father was a bigger kinda guy, I wore his shirts and boxers mostly

Other pregnant woman: I like to do yoga and an hour of cardio each day. It helps me appreciate the wonders of what my body is capable of right now. Me: I almost suffocated while trying to put my shoes on this morning.
That was without a doubt me lol working out was the last thing on my mind lol
Me: What would look better with this, tennis shoes or boots? Husband: It doesn’t really matter, you’re just going to look super pregnant regardless. Me: Husband: Me: Husband: Me: Husband: Me: Husband: I am so sorry.
They’ve invented a curved pregnancy test, so you don’t pee on your hand. "Listen, if you aren’t ready to have pee on your hand, then you’re definitely not ready to be a mom."
As well as your face, clothes, and possibly your pets and anything else you hold dear
I mean…plenty of women take pregnancy tests hoping they aren’t pregnant. So let them have the kind where they don’t have to pee on themselves and those who are so looking forward to being a mom and having all kinds of bodily fluids all over them use the kind that can make you get pee on yourself 🤷♀️
And green Poop. I mean really? No offense I didn't have a baby Martian girl. And yes I change diapers, I actually changed her first 9 diaper in the hospital.
As a parent, pee is the least objectionable thing I've had on my hands.

The baby does pee in the amniotic fluid. And drinks it, too. But the fluid is constantly being changed, new water appearing and old being disposed of.
Is that one of the reason pregnant women have to pee alot to get rid of the extra waste and also the baby pressing on the bladder? Just asking, I don't know so would like to learn.
Load More Replies...Yes the baby pees and poops and it is absorbed and disposed of by your body

What does it mean when a baby is born with teeth? It means that the baby’s mother may want to rethink her plans to nurse.
They don't nurse with their teeth anyway. Most breastfeeding moms feed their baby when they have teeth (as they nee

Having read her books, I'm thinking pregnancy might have been fairly easy for her.
Haven’t read her books. But regarding her statement “my condition doesn’t change my personality”: Your personality can definitely change during pregnancy! You can even feel anything but yourself during pregnancy, feel like someone else, don’t recognize yourself anymore. You can feel like a totally different person. After having given birth it can immediately disappear, or even stay for longer. After your response and this statement of her, I totally believe you!
