Women have had hundreds upon hundreds of reasons to carry protest posters since the dawn of time, whether it was for voting rights, reproductive rights, or most recently, against sexual predators holding powerful positions. What started with the first well-organized, not so peaceful protest for suffrage in as early as 1913, is now often supported by men also, who understand that feminism and related social issues are not some evil entity, but rather thinking of women as equals. Sadly enough, ladies still have to prove their worthiness to some.
To celebrate the strength and bravery of all the women and girls who have taken to the streets, stood up for their beliefs and gender equality, and stared down anyone who tried to get in their way, we've compiled the best photos of female social activists and protesters from around the world, and they're sure to speak to your renegade soul. because police aren't there protecting HER and she is the one brave citizen to stand up for the many! police are just trained dogs to do as anyone with enough money and power tell them to do. so while she's representing her people, the police are just there waiting on orders. yes, to many, the slogan is to "protect and serve" but whose protecting her and the reason why she is there protesting in the first place. thats right! no one but her and the other protesters. Look at this pic! these people are literally willing to fight for what they beleive in but all they are doing is chanting and making noise and police get called because apparently people having a voice in any dang age is wrong. They didn't come to protect her, you can see it in their faces! those guys hate their job! they show up with their big guns and in their big a*s suits of armor and the woman whose literally 2 heads shorter is the threat? and i bet it was the police man who got in her face and she just didnt move!

Well, i'm from this country, and there's a previous picture, where that kid was throwing a rock to another policeman, then that guy on the picture tryed to capture tbe child. The cop who received the rock went to hospital with a severe injurie on his head. This picture doesn'r represent "fierce woman" at all

Im chilean. There are pics of her showing middle finger right on the policeman's face. She also said swears and stuff to him. And he was just standing there to prevent violence. I may agree with the motive of some protests but there are many protesters who are just looking for some violence and adrenaline and probably she is one of those. I remember a protester called Maria Musica, she threw water to the minister of education and became pretty famous. She was demanding for free education. The government created a scholarship to pay about 70% of the annual fee for university students. It's not what everybody was expecting and i think it's not fair enough but i got that scholarship and i could study. Maria Musica is my same age, now she sells cakes on the streets. What I mean is that there are many protesters looking for notoriety but actually they dont have real goals.

Standing up for what you believe in and never backing down in the face of adversity is a beautiful thing. These women are beautiful, self-empowered and strong! I admire these women and hope that their iconic images will set an example for generations to come. Because I believe everyone has the potential to be just as brave. :) Me, I am kind of wimpy - Got to work on that.

Check out the Romanian protests since 2012, mostly from 2017 (starting end of January), 2018 (August 10th). I know at least 2 emblematic pictures with women and children as well.
