See with your own eyes. We have many NGOs who are telling these lies they are exploiting the Indians and taking money from you to sell this absurd idea, donate to NGOs, come see.

Not to be a downer on a happy post, but tribal leaders and Native activists are still being murdered by illegal loggers daily. This win is huge, but is just a small drop in the bucket for the number of losses that need to be struck against the oil lobby in order to get them to change their habits.

As a decendant of American indians, I can get behind this.

I did hear about this, and was ecstatic, truly, the oil business has had too many spills, how many animals either died, or suffered, also land is taken from natives, I am disgusted !!!

What we have to realize here is the situation between the natives the citizens and the government in Brasil is very different from other countries, most Brasileiros are of native decent. And a lot of theses tribes are looked at as free loaders on government protection. This isn’t my opinion but most people who live in the near Amazon region see the natives as blocking progress. We aren’t talking about building Bustling bustling cities, we are talking about making schools , bringing electricity, and vaccines to parts of the country that haven’t had that luxury or maybe had these things taken away.
