A picture is worth a thousand words... At least that's exactly how people feel when seeing illustrations by a mysterious Japanese artist Avogado6.

The illustrator and video editor don't share many personal details about his life. "I am an ordinary person who likes chemistry," he writes on his Twitter profile, but the meaningful drawings of the artist are far from ordinary.

Avogado6 manages to create sentimental, vivid images by drawing feelings and emotions that might seem hard to describe with words. And sometimes his sad drawings don't really need an explanation, as they convey the emotions so well, often hiding a harsh social issue behind them.

The artist has more than 650k followers on Twitter and has published two books. And his success is sure to grow bigger with time, as this Japanese art maestro delivers new deep meaning illustrations very often, deciphering problems with society and our inner fears better with each one.

Look at the shadow... it seems that his own chipped parts are casting that chipping shadow. Maby it meens that we are our greatest enemies. I know that I can be great... as long as I trust myself. On other hand, when I am insecure, I am dumb as hell 😉😎

This illustration is more poetic than much of the artwork that is out there today.

It's funny how different the interpretations can be. I thought it look like a picture of someone who has big dreams but other people dont let him dream because they fear that he could succed so they try to put him down Sorry for my bad Englisch I m not a native speaker

Understanding and support from others can help you reach for light despite the darkness you’re currently in

My depression. Trying so hard to hold onto the light and fearing it is just an illusion.

You can actually see two scenes! 1: the darkness is taking the boy away from the light. 2: the darkness is trying to help the boy reach the light. On the first scene I see the darkness representing depression and the light representing happiness the boy is trying to hold on to the light but the darkness is much stronger. In the second scene I see the darkness as people related to him who have depression and the boy is almost following that path but they don't let him and help him reach the light and so he will be safe and maybe those people too

The opposite image would be hands of people in darkness give a leg up for one of them to light the world.

Surround your self with light...if you surround yourself with darkness it will pull you down into darkness before your light will pull the darkness into the light...

That is how I feel about getting a gf, I am afraid that my darkness will pull her light out too. He is holding on to the light switch so if he is getting pulled down he will switch of that light too.

Even darkness is able to prep you up while you keep reaching for that light.. but whether it is to switch it off or on, that is completely up to you.

This says to me "So many things that want to plug into you. To use your energy and lifeforce, and drain you." Perhaps referring also to the electronics and devices that seem to consume our lives, in this illustration, quite literally.

I may be looking way too deep into these but heres what i thought: The flower could be repesenting love and the picking of the petals could be playing on that whole "he loves me, he loves me not" rhyme sooo it could be representing a broken heart and the more times the person's heart was broken the more desensitised the person became, leading on to become a doll which is made of plastic and emotionless...?
