Beautiful and well composed but I don't think this is "everyday"
In America, we would cut the trees down to make room for something useful, like a Walmart or a failing restaurant.
RK is a versatile artist involved in various fields such as photography, graphic design, and DJing. He holds the exclusive position of iPhone Photographer for the running crew "AFE TOKYO" and is considered as one of the prominent Japanese artists.
We reached out to RK to ask him more about himself and his creative process. We were curious about how his journey as a photographer started. He shared that he began taking photos after joining a running team called AFE TOKYO. Since then, he has captured many captivating shots along his journey.
In 2018, alongside his other roles, RK pursued his passion for photography and transitioned to freelancing. He switched to using a single-lens reflex camera and created numerous remarkable pieces like "His Grandpa in Akihabara" and "Taipei Bridge Bike".

It would have been be more useful if the title told us the name of the mountain, in case some people don't know what Mount Fuji is or the name. I have seen Mount Fuji before while riding on a metro, it was one of the most beautiful and breathtaking moments of my life.
Singapore
Singapore has always seemed so beautiful, and so progressive, at least environmentally. It is unfortunate for me that I will be unable to travel there, due to anti-LGBTQ+ laws making it potentially unsafe for me. I still find some of the country quite beautiful though.
The law was just repealed recently and even before it was they stopped arresting people for at least a decade.
Load More Replies...We wanted to know what inspired RK to specifically delve into capturing the beauty that Asia has to offer. The artist answered that he likes traditional Asian architecture. "I wanted to express these architectures in my own way, so I started taking pictures."
Japan
Jeez can the title please tell us the name of this temple? This temple is called Toji Temple, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Japan
Beautiful photography! I get this strange sense of mystery and awe from it! Then again, objects larger than an average human interest me. But nonetheless it's still stunning!
RK's captivating photographs depict a wide range of subjects, including stunning portraits of people, as well as captivating depictions of streets, buildings, and nature, all characterized by vibrant colors. His talent has attracted attention not only in Japan but also in various international media outlets.
However, creating art also comes with its own challenges. For RK, The most difficult part is the preparation for the location, such as the route to get there, the choice of time to shoot, and the anticipation and prediction of the location. "But at the same time, it is fun. The people I met, the scenery, the smells... I enjoy all of them."
Taiwan
I LOVE this one. Just the combination of the modern world and their culture is so gorgeous.

**please don't jump on me** from this overhead angle, to scale, that would be the Olympics of a mini golf course 19th hole. ..... I'm see myself out

If it was me in the picture, I would either. 1.be falling off. 2.be out of sight because I fell off before the picture was taken
Influencers these days.😑 I remember one time my family was having a peaceful stroll in a public garden and it was very calm...UNTIL some weird influencer started hopping about in an incredibly sparkly dress, with a cameraman following her. They blocked every good view and they were super loud, the influencer was like "OMG let's take this pic!" and she proceeds to block and walk in front of other people who were taking their photos FIRST. She ruined the serenity of the beautiful garden. She was like: "EXCUSE MEEE COMING THROUGH, LET ME HAVE NO PEOPLE RUINING MY PIC, AHEM!" I dislike arrogant and snobbish influencers like her.
I can't even LOOK at a white shirt without staining it, and she went up a mountain... 😅

I spent time as a teenager in Maryland, right outside of DC. When family would come up we'd go into the city for the Cherry Blossom Festival... I THOUGHT I'd seen cherry blossoms. Man, I hadn't seen shît compared to actual cherry blossoms in Japan, apparently.
Taiwan
China
My my my, the contrast of their culture to the modern houses in the background just seems so elegant...
Elegant, yet sometimes distressing. A Chinese woman was arrested and charged for cosplay... why you ask? Not because of "skimpy clothes" in public or fake weapons... but because she was cosplaying an anime character... and therefore wearing a Kimono. While these pictures are beautiful, one must remember that China is still ruled by a Communist party, that draft laws to "encourage" nationalism. While I absolutely believe preserving culture to be important... it shouldn't be at the threat to people's freedom and/or lives.

As a non native American, American, we (and yes, I'm speaking for all non native American, Americans) have had some history, yes. But Americans are a few thousand years behind the kind of amazing history Japan has.... Man, If those woods could talk

It's giving me a headache xD. My brain doesn't know what to do with all this info.

I love to read, but I don't read a novel or book a week or anything. I get on kicks, like I am right now. I'm reading Sapiens, A brief history of human kind by Noah Harari (if you haven't, holy cow please pick it up. Phenomenal book), and as much as I was immediately drawn in by this book... If it was on an e-reader? I just can't. I love flipping the page. Holding an actual book in my hands; seeing the bruises and scars the pages and covers hold that make you remember, "damn, that's where I dropped it on the pool deck that time". Even the way old books smell... No piece of technology can compete with having and holding an actual book in your hands.

No fair, my junk drawer full of cables and batteries doesn't have a kindly older gentleman in it!
Akihabara AKA electric town near Ueno is the centre of otaku culture in Japan. It used to be mainly famous for consumer electronics but now you're more likely to find maid cafes and anime figurines. Watch out for the 6 storey adult store (I thought it was a cosplay shop 🫣)
Taiwan
It absolutely belongs. It's about composition.

Kinda reminds me of little nightmares the ship part of the game where you look down and see people eating at the restaurants

So, if you look closely at that photo, you can see that the building isn't finished. Here's a link to information about the building and architecture. https://www.designboom.com/architecture/vincent-callebaut-twisting-carbon-absorbing-tower-taipei-01-26-2021/

You need to get over those jitters. As far as I know, few people outside of mainland Asia have a major problem with Japan, and their reputation for courtesy is well-deserved. There's probably minimal risk of the thing you keep posting about.

If only everyone put their phones down and actually experienced the moment they were living, instead of seeing life through a screen.
Perhaps they are taking a photo … aren’t we seeing life through a screen by enjoying these pictures?

Night markets are the best. My favorite is in Kowloon although I have been to many others in Bangkok, Vientiane and Phnom Penh. Great for food, some bargains, people watching and a great place to take photos
Ladie's market in Kowloon is incredible! Although the vibe was different the last time I was there, I miss it a lot. Never gets boring.

They should have said photos of Taiwan and mostly Japan. Asia is huge but I guess it is only these two places.
These are gorgeous. Darnit Japan, you got some pretty stuff... but title of the post is a bit misleading - don't call this "Everyday Life". Come on - seriously? Most of these are the posters they'd use to advertise for "Travel to this beautiful country!"
