This Instagram Page Is Solely Dedicated To People Standing Weirdly In Public, And Here Are 40 Of The Best Pics

If you’ve seen Monty Python’s Flying Circus, you probably know where this is going.

If you’re not aware, then let me break it down to you: the surreal comedy troupe called Monty Python used to make absurd skits back in the late ‘60s through the early ‘80s with comebacks here and there.

One skit, in particular, is about the Ministry of Silly Walks, which is exactly what it sounds like. It talks about silly walks and how one person is attempting to acquire a grant to develop a silly walk.

Well, it seems that the legacy lives on in the form of silly standing. The link may or may not be relevant here, but the vibe is definitely the same. And there’s a whole Instagram account dedicated to this!

that posture is associated with a form of dementia. can't remember the name of it right now but many have commented on it. some also say it's because of the lifts in his shoes as they cause his heels to be to a point that they are going to slip out.

Yes, I’ve encountered that recommendation again and again, i.e., to do that throughout the day when you can, such as when brushing your teeth in the morning, etc. Not sure I’d do it that way in public, though. 🤨

in the science classrooms at my school that's the only way to turn on the projector. the lab tables up front have footprints on them constantly bc you have to stand on the stool to get onto the table to reach the projector button with a yardstick.

I just sit at my desk paranoid that i'm going to get caught. Every time someone walks through the door i quickly switch to emails. I do get my work done but then there are times when it gets quiet and boring hence the name - Bored Panda.
