I'm in favor of practicing any religion you like, but Islam is one of the most intolerant religions to ever exist. There is no Muslim-majority country where being gay isn't hazardous to your health. There isn't a muslim-majority country that isn't a hellhole in regards to women's rights. Islam is incompatible with liberalism, the same way 14th century Catholicism is incompatible with liberalism. If you want to follow Islam, as a liberal I say you do you, but don't expect me to turn a blind eye to the religion's social problems.

I never got the hate against trans people (or gay or others). Even if you disagree with their mentality why does it matter? They arent doing anything against you. Let people be.

A big part of the problem is that a core part of being transgender flies in the face of how most people live: we do not feel comfortable with the body we were born with. It doesn't match who we are. Some can understand, of course (anyone who experiences dysmorphia will be able to relate), but most never even consider the question of whether they're comfortable with their body in relation to their own identity. And honestly, I suspect that those who are most uncomfortable with transgender are the ones who see something of themselves in it but are not willing or able to confront that.

I don't care what people wear, what they do in the bedroom or with whom. I respect their space as I expect them to respect everyone else's space. We are all the same. That's it, we are all the same.

There was a girl who was interviewed on CNN recently about her experience detransitioning and the trans community went ballistic. Saying shame on CNN for showing the interview, sending death threats and other obscene messages to the girl in question and trans "journalists" writing articles about how offensive it was. I was horrified when I discover this.

My young cousin is trans and I support her 100%.

Its todays generation , go back to the 90s , when it was accepted , why , because it was not shoved our throats , and no one was offended , now we have to change our wording as not to offend .

I think it's a fear factor (along with racism and misogyny). The white, southern, evangelicals cannot stand the thought of things changing and that they aren't in control of everything. It's none of my business what/who someone is. They're just a friend, boss, co-worker, etc. The groups these people are so frantically afraid of are changing things, as well as everyday Americans, and they can't handle it

Our culture tends to see things in black and white. I much prefer shades of gray and things like the yin-yang symbol, where each part contains a germ of the other.

I’m not concerned enough about other people’s genitals to care whether they’re trans or which bathroom anyone is using. None of my business.

People shouldn't hate on other people for trying to be who they are inside on the outside. It's stupid and useless and doesn't need to happen.

As long as it doesn't hurt anyone people can do what they like, be what they want. No one has any right to judge them just as no one has any right to judge you.

Why do people care so much about what other people identify as? It's not affecting you idiot. It would literally be so much easier for everyone involved. Also trans people can be diverse as they want the identity of one does not invalidate the identity of another.

Well Katlyn Jenner did not help that stereotype.... the only thing I have against them, along with anyone else, is don't dictate my words. Don't get pissed if I didn't know. My dad hates it if I call him anything other than dad. Like the guy that starts screaming, I'm not a man... other than snowflake crap like that there cool peps just like any other lifestyle.

The woke culture is here and it is going to take too long for people to get educated. I was just reading about a Virginia teacher who was fired and then reinstated, the problem is he is refusing to teach his students about trans people, because he serves God first. It is a high profile story right now and is going to divide people greatly. People are going to get vile and cruel over this issue. I support the LGBTQ and I support the heterosexuals of this world.

I think far less people hate the LGBQT community, but are annoyed of how companies feel the need to check "diversity" boxes and force it down the customer's throat. With their whole inclusivity they ruin beloved franchises and get the fanbases angry (Marvel is a prime example). To be clearer: It's not diversity that ruins franchises but the focus on it that effects stories, characters, etc. negativley
