After the Titanic hit an iceberg during her maiden voyage to New York City, the musicians decided to do their part while the crew loaded the lifeboats. Looking to soothe everyone's nerves, they continued to play as the ship sunk lower and lower into the ocean. All 8 musicians perished that night in the sea.
Such heroism is hard to match, but there is a select breed of people who remain calm in all sorts of ridiculous and weird situations. And many of them end up featured in the subreddit r/hmmm. Continue scrolling and check out these bad*sses!

Idk why I find this funny but that guy is someone I'd totally be friends with
Nowadays, even reading the daily news can be stressful. Add on the stresses of daily life — such as handling work demands or adjusting to retirement, dealing with family issues, coping with illness, or caregiving — and you may become really anxious really fast.
"Some degree of anxiety is normal and even necessary," Dr. Ann Epstein, a psychiatrist at Harvard-affiliated Cambridge Health Alliance and medical editor of the Harvard Special Health Report Coping with Anxiety and Stress, said.
"Anxiety signals us that something is awry or might need our attention. However, you don't want the response to become exaggerated or to dominate your life," Epstein explained. Good coping mechanisms for stress and anxiety can help you get through turbulent times.
In the presence of rude human invaders in their habitat, the cats remain calm and collected.
These bipeds seem fine though. When asleep they are interesting creatures to observe. Strange noises and postures and all.

Is that true? Good to know. And if it's not true, then it still serves as a fun little tidbit of misinformation. Y'know, to go out with a bang! Or BLITZ as it were/will be...
Load More Replies...Cheetahs are actually for the most part completely chill with humans unless they attack them or something
Yes, they see people like any other animal that is too big for them to eat but doesn't usually attack them.
Load More Replies...Another cheetah did, it's going to be used in an educational video for hunting prey

One of my dreams is to be close to big cats without the inevitable guaranteed nightmare.
In my time I have slept with quite a lot of pussy, but this gives a whole new angle to things.
ok, i'd possible freak out if i woke up surrounded by wild cheetahs, but at the same time i'd love to wake up surrounded by cheetahs. i love cats, big or small. and its so cute that the cats are sleeping too :-)
Go to sleep girls, This human will protect us with that stick he has there.
There is a guy on YouTube who also sleeps with them, the only risk is that they start to groom you. Their licking is razor sharp and if licked to long you will start to bleed. Also they purr very loud.
Day 4 of infiltrating cheetah pack: i am now able to sleep in the presence of the cats, it seems they do not see me as food. In fact one of the cats, i call him Yoyo - put a claw in mouth to see if i was still breathing. So cute ❤️
OMG. can you IMAGINE such a bonding experience? That lucky dude is now FOREVER gonna look in the mirror and see "Tarzan\Aquaman" looking back at himself.
Um...no. I'm African and I can assure you that we don't play with Cheetahs. I've never even seen one before.

It's a good idea to begin by figuring out whether your anxiety is normal or you have a disorder — defined as symptoms that have plagued you for at least six months.
If your anxiety has been interfering with your daily life for a while, it might be time to see a mental health professional. But if you're confident that your anxiety is of the everyday variety, you might get some relief by doing the following things.
Talk about it. Even something as simple as explaining your concerns to friends and family can help you put them in perspective. Further discussion with your doctor can identify any stress-induced health issues, like high blood pressure or poor sleep, that you may have developed and help you find ways to treat them.
Take care of yourself. For example, eat healthy, tasty meals. Pursue your favorite activities, even if it's just watching a good movie or TV series, reading a new novel, visiting a museum, gardening, walking the dog, or playing with grandchildren. Becoming immersed in pleasurable activities can help you get rid of anxiety, at least temporarily.
Get regular exercise. Physical activity affects the nervous system and reduces stress. 30 minutes of walking can be enough to help boost your mood. Yoga and tai chi can also relax your body and mind.
Keep a list. Whenever a worry or fear begins to take over your thoughts, write it down in as much detail as you can. Many people find that just articulating their cares provides some relief.
Use calming techniques. Learning techniques to counter stress can improve your mood, reduce your health risks, and enhance your appreciation of daily life. Many Y's and health centers offer stress-reduction programs, which may include instruction in mindfulness, relaxation, yoga, or tai chi. There are numerous books, YouTube videos and smartphone apps that can guide you in practicing these techniques.
Hello from the other side I must've called a thousand times To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done But when I call, you never seem to be home
Guy Fiery you say? Ok, great, now let me finish my giant burger blonde-electricized-hair-man.

Hope he got out before the truck got to him. I guess he could just duck but still a close call.
Could he not get out coz it was too slippery? Usually you just do a little run up to get out.
Wow, that's just sad. What would be worse is if they were texting each other.
So once again the title is the absurd part of the article? Sure, lots of weird things in the pictures, but it's only a few of them that show people remaining calm while something weird goes on right next to them...
Yeah, I hope this site isn't turning into another Buzzfeed.

I found this rather boring. No titles. No way to understand what is supposed to be going on. I guess maybe it's just me.
