Arms are fat, face is fat, and legs are not "skinny." Just less fat than that huge belly fat hanging down. She is obese, which is a medical term, and which is fine. We should all be allowed to take our obese selves wherever we want. But she's letting it all hang out, on purpose. Which isn't cute. I hope it's just bc it's hotter than hades in there.

You are right when this would be her normal self. I just think she is not quite there yet. She has a stroller there. so most likely she had a baby. Maybe she was somewhat obese to begin with. I have no problems with that either. I just give here some grace for the pregnancy. Not a charming site, not cool to take a picture.

She is not "slightly overweight" she is obese, and as much as the 75% of the US who's overweight, 44% which is obese, and 21% who is MORBIDLY obese would like to believe, the science has been settled on the issue for a very, very long time. 50 years ago the obesity rate in the US was 13.4%, and the number of people with type 2 diabetes was a bit over 200,000. Today, it's nearly 40 million (a 95x increase adjusting for population) with another 140 million people classified as pre-diabetic. This idiotic idea of "healthy at any size" is based on the observation that a morbidly obese 20 year old, might appear perfectly healthy. But.....over time, the results are ALWAYS the same. Much like you can get away with smoking for some period of time, or binge drinking, or any of the other multitude of activities proven to be detrimental to your health. It's not a debate, and people like you would rather lie to themselves and act as if it's everyone else that has the problem.

I see you ignoring the fact that she just had a baby, and focusing on her weight. Fine. Obviously I can't convince you of what you've convinced yourself of. Just because science has said being 'overweight' is unhealthy for so long, doesn't make it true. Just like being super skinny isn't healthy either. It's the same with the misinformation about any form of fat in food being totally unhealthy. The study that started it all came from one guy looking at the type of food people were eating at LENT in order to support his skewed views. One guy. Your body needs fat to survive. And it's only now that we're starting to figure that out. All these 'fat free' options out there, that people eat because they think they're eating healthier, are often loaded with sugar. Which is the real problem. However, there's still a huge stigma against fat in food, which will take decades more to repair. Sugar, stigma against weight, and 'weight loss' products are billion-dollar industries.

How do you know it to be a fact that she just had a baby? Here's an equally 'factual' representation of the picture. She's at the store with her sister or friend who just had a baby and is pushing the stroller for sister/friend.

I couldn't care less about her weight for whatever reason. I care about sanitation, and all that bare, constantly shedding skin around the food.

She looks BAD. That she "can" look like that, does not mean that anyone should be pretending that it's acceptable. i would love to see you go through a pregnancy (hopefully a healthy one, but there are plenty of pregnancies that are not healthy and could cause excessive weight gain, amongst other maternal health issues as side effects), then push out a kid out of your body and then snap right back to your pre-pregnancy weight. you need to stop, since you clearly know little about women, and literally NOTHING about this woman.
