Since my early childhood, I have found natural history films quite comforting. I enjoy David Attenborough's TV programs a lot, so in a way, I dedicated my Inktober series to him.

It felt so good to draw with real paint and work on paper. Create things not on a laptop, as usual, but by hand.

It's so awesome that you;re recognizing him with this. I've loved his documentaries since I was tiny. <33

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, it has been a great form of relaxation for me since I was a child.

After graduating from university in 2016, I immediately started to work on my own projects: I created a book about interesting public transportation vehicles, and also published a set of posters about the districts of Budapest. After the success of these, a lot of cool projects came in so I'm happy that I was able to work with clients like the Washington Post or Facebook.

When I'm completely free to do something, it's never challenging to draw, even the difficult parts are enjoyable. Using ink is also one of my favorite techniques, so it was fun to use the same tools and the same style every day for a while.

One drawing took 4 hours approximately, but it also depended on how detailed the actual animal and the background were.

I really like to paint or draw on paper with actual tools, even if I have to work digitally most of the time because the texture of the paper and the way how different materials react with each other adds a new, interesting perspective to the result. I think that this experience makes sure that I'll find something new and exciting every day, so it's also easy to keep up my passion.

At the moment, I'm working on a children's book, which is an old dream of mine. When I was a child I was always thinking about walking into a bookshop where I could find several books that were illustrated by me. I hope that I can finish it soon, so the dream can come true!

I don't remember Attenborough making documentary about luxury pets, but I like the picture a lot.

Actually ants can carry stuff that weighs more than they do themselves, here it seems to be a piece of Black Forest cherry cake.
