Having an imaginary friend is a totally normal part of childhood. This reminds me of a conversation my uncle started with my dad, he has a toddler that mumbles to herself and the walls. My dad asks why she does that and my uncle says I don't know maybe she talks to the dead. My dad then says "Have you ever thought that your dead, I mean it's a possibility that she talks to the dead so maybe that's why she talks to you because your dead. Car crash means not THAT long a time ago. There seems to be a pattern wherein reincarnation happens about 40 yeas upon the onset of sudden death. Residual memories of past lives evaporate off by age 5, typically. It might be worth the research to find out who your kid was, in a previous life. For a helluva story, if nothing else.

My cousin used to say something like this when he was just 3. There was a bridge over a ricer a couple of kms from his home. He would say i fell off the bridge in a road accident while going to work. I don’t know hiw he got this, but a few tears before he was born, my aunt’s husband had died this way.

My daughter played with a square of toilet paper when she was 3 years old for a entire weekend. Pushed it in a stroller and placed it in a baby crib. Its name was "Friend Towel" lol

Bruh screw imaginary people. My sister had an entire imaginary land, complete with 2 civiliations at war with each other. TBF, my sister keeps this up at age 8, and she no longer believes in it she just likes making up the stories. And she created the war at 8, and the civilizations at 5 or 6. But she always had Mr. Nobody, who had a wife woth my name, and a lot of children who are still aloud depsite the fact the my siste rwas forced to execute Mr. and Mrs. Nobody. No, she hasn't had any childhood trauma, and who the heck called child protection services. Oh, and one of them can change his age and like sitting on my head.

I used to have an imaginary friend named Lily, who lived in Colodado Springs. I was about 4-5 and I didn't know that Colorado Springs is where we lived at th time. I gave her a seat in the car, and shared my food with her. Something creepy my mom told me about Lily was... So one day I was talking to myself and stared a mirror. I feel like I’m the only one who didn’t have an imaginary friend, of course when I was younger I’d talk to myself, actually I did that a lot. (Maybe still do) But it was always me just talking to myself, no imaginary person and I was fully aware it was just me talking to myself.

I remember reading this study, cannot recall who by, that researched the number of children with imaginary friends where their mother had a miscarriage before they had the child with the imaginary friend. So was the miscarried child the friend? Can't remember the conclusion either but it was a very interesting premise. I had an imaginary friend and yes, my mother had a miscarriage before getting pregnant with me. Oh, I have 5 siblings just as you mention only children not that this is in anyway conclusive! 65% of children have imaginary friends and there is a higher incidence in only children or first born.

there was a bomb in almost every room... my parents tried to kill me?! I started to cry... and Onryu came and hugged me, then told me why they wanted to kill me... She said its because of me having an imaginary friend, I guess my parents didn't like Onryu...but what about my friends? i asked Onryu, she said they were talking about taking you to the beach and drowning you... I said no no they didn't sure enough she had a document open on my computer about how they would do it...and then i asked then why the hell did she tell me that she wanted to be the only friend? she told me that she tried to protect me by telling me that...now i'm living "alone" and having a good time with Onryu. Until i found out she was a Japanese spirit of Wraith and was eventually going to kill me too... so i found the nearest exorcist and got the B*tch out of my life forever...I hope.

Please You Have To Help Me My Friends And Parents Were Killed By my Imaginary Friend!!! He let me inside and apparently he can see her too! he said hes been seeing her follow everyone i am close too and killing them, we were talking more about it and then heard a very loud BANG! on the window... we both saw her roaming around the house looking for an entrance and she found one... she came inside and killed my neighbor and said to me what are doing he had a gun he going to shoot you! I replied NO HE WASN'T! Crying my eyeballs out and then sure enough when the body fell there was gun in his hand... i thanked her but was still scared! Then she brought me back to my house an showed me why she killed my parents..

I was once ta this really old pharmacy, like over 100 years old, and my 3 year old daughter needed to use the bathroom. I asked the pharmacist if she could use the bathroom and he told me to go through the storage room and it was in back. I think some of these are imaginary friends and some are kids with a gift. A friend of mine was creeped out when her husband started sleepwalking in their new apartment. He'd wake up in front of the kitchen cupboard, assumed he was just thirsty, would grab a drink and go back to bed. My friend was wiping the top off the cupboard one day and found a fully loaded heroine syringe. She called the leasing office and they told her the previous tenant died from a heroine overdose. After the syringe was disposed of, her husband stopped sleepwalking.

I had an imaginary friend her name was Onryu. she looked like she had blood on the neck of her dress but she always told me it was paint. well fast forward like 3 days, i went back to school bc summer was over ):< and i made new friends at school so i grew distant from Onryu. sometimes i would see Onryu Peeking around the cafeteria doors and staring at me and my new friends and then when i noticed her she would smile creepily walk away. and when i got home that day i went to my room and noticed something on my bed, something that wasn't there before? and i grabbed it, it was a note from my parents... it read (Hey, hope u had a good first day back to school we are going to pick up some groceries Love u) So now i thought oh okay so they will buying my new cereal In my head i said (HAIL YES!) but now i was disturbed by my imaginary friend Onryu, that day my friends got killed in some unexplained accident? and she told me it was her that killed them i told her to leave and that pissed her

When me and my sister were younger we believed that the sun and moon were the homes of our imaginary friends and we tried to fly there by jumping on our trampoline with our stuffed animals 😂

I forgot my daughter's imaginary friend's name when she was 3. But he lived on the slide in the backyard and had a red beard or something. She talks to herself a lot, very loud and animated, when she plays make believe. My son just whispers creepily things he has heard us all say. Random schitt.

hey, l used to have a high-tech world where l was king of the universe. And no-one could oppose me. And people who displeased me in real life would end up being the leaders of evil planets, witch l would lead assault teams to destroy. And whenever someone really annoyed me in the real world, l'd imagine torturing them in my head later. l have what you might call issues, but i'm fine now

I was once ta this really old pharmacy, like over 100 years old, and my 3 year old daughter needed to use the bathroom. I asked the pharmacist if she could use the bathroom and he told me to go through the storage room and it was in back. As soon as we entered the storage room my daughter stops dead in her tracks and says, "MAMA, Mama...someone died in here." The hairs on my neck went straight up. She had never said anything like that before, or since.

I had a bunch of imaginary cats that I would bring to summer camp. There was one of every color, but i only remember Ginger (Orange) A lime cat who's name I forget, Lemon (Yellow), A pink cat who i think was named raspberry or something, Blueberry (Blue,), and Blackberry (Black).

I think some of these are imaginary friends and some are kids with a gift. A friend of mine was creeped out when her husband started sleepwalking in their new apartment. He'd wake up in front of the kitchen cupboard, assumed he was just thirsty, would grab a drink and go back to bed. My friend was wiping the top off the cupboard one day and found a fully loaded heroine syringe. She called the leasing office and they told her the previous tenant died from a heroine overdose. After the syringe was disposed of, her husband stopped sleepwalking.

I had an imaginary baby dinosaur in fourth grade. I hatched him from an egg and gave him pets. I miss that dude, but last I heard of him, he made a little life for himself. Found a husband and adopted a little bird! He’s now a CEO of his own company. Proud of that little dude 😌 I think his name was Steven
