@ Martha Meyer : Why should his children pay for his nursery home? Isnt that peoples own responsibillity to get sorted? Relying up to the kids to provide a proper old day is like living in the past centuries, they have their own burdens to carry.

Just wanted to tell you I love your name. I named one of my cats Astérix who lived to almost 17. He was an extraordinary cat. I still love the books too.

If you can, do go for sugery. My parents, aunt, sister, and husband all have gerd and all have lived much happier lives since getting it. If pills aren't working I would totally advise it

Still not a great method. Anything requiring 'force' with children in this manner just shows the parents are ill-equipped with the right way to handle it. Meals should never be a battleground. It's out of date and not recommended by anyone these days.

Looking at the original photo on Reddit, the screenshot has at the bottom "commenting has been turned off". I'm guessing Dad got handed his rear end so badly by the rest of that group that the admins had no choice but to turn off commenting.

If you click on the reddit link at the bottom, it pulls up the entire picture. It says that comments are turned off. Maybe because everyone attacked the poster, or because the poster knows what a POS he is?

That was the rule in my home as well- sometimes I wasn’t hungry- other times I just didn’t even want to try what I though I wouldn’t like. If I was hungry later- it was kept cold for me to be reheated that day- Never had an eating disorder- and I use this concept with my kids- but I got lucky- they try everything - and usually like it all. Never would I add more to a plate. And never would I make them eat something if they truly didn’t like it AFTER at least trying it. They aren’t me. And I’m not them. Who am I to say something is delicious and everyone like it? Are we not all allowed diff opinions yet alone have diff taste buds? Lol

Making sure that her kid won't find his prick or vagina to have a pleasant shower time... as this mother is most likely one who also denies her kid a door to their bedroom.

My son is 6 and judging from the fact that I have to go with him to the bathroom to make sure he REALLY washes his hands instead of just letting the water run (or if he is particularly sneaky just making his hands a bit wet)..... I definitely can see myself having to make sure he really showers correctly, instead of just letting the water run! But that's the only reason I can think of, why a mother would do that.

I think I did it until my son was around 8 but only because he would go in to the shower in the morning before school and go back to sleep.
