Social media, comments sections, forums and user-driven internet pages have all created the sort of environment where most of us can both post and read what other people from across the world think. But the unfortunate truth is that sometimes people put a lot of effort into sharing ideas that aren’t entirely their own.

A person who claimed to have worked for the meat industry to discredit veganism went online and participated in an “ask me anything” (AMA) thread. So we’ve put together the most interesting posts from it. Get comfortable as you scroll through, upvote the best examples and be sure to share your own thoughts in the comments down below.

People who try the carnivore diet are mostly people who have been on one restrictive diet after another. So when they finally start eating enough calories and protein on the carnivore diet, they feel relatively great. It would blow their minds if they tried being regular omnivores for once.

Doesn't take an expert to know, you just look up what the experts say, it's easy to find online. For instance, the world's largest organisation for dietitians says veganism is safe and healthy, and they show the guidelines that you should follow to have a healthy vegan diet.

I'm actually pretty sure this is a pro-vegan person pretending to have been this "discreditor." She said not to believe people are who they say they are online. Well, I'm not believing this person ever worked for the meat industry. People already dislike vegans. You don't really need to work very hard to get people against veganism.
