We‘ve all been taught that it‘s not polite to listen to somebody else‘s private conversations. But sometimes you just can‘t help it but overhear some of it passing by, riding a bus, lifting weights at the gym, or casually shopping. And what makes these funny conversations as amusing as they are is that they're completely out of context.
This Instagram account, Overheard LA, is dedicated to such overheard conversations happening in Los Angeles, California. Stating that “We all have ears,” the creators invite Angelinos to share some of the best pieces that they have ever overheard in their daily lives while living in the City of Angels. From weird questions and ubiquitous conversation topics - the Los Angeles population always has some funny things to say. I've read it all. I'm astonished. Is this representative for LA? Are people in LA so shallow, pretentious and dumb?
They were either all made up, in which case many were quite funny, or they were real, revealing people in LA to be as shallow as p**s on a plate
