Looking at these beautiful drawings, you see stories. Some are clear, some left untold, but all touching. Nine months ago Bored Panda introduced you to the deep drawings of Japanese illustrator Avogado6. The artist chooses to keep most of his identity a mystery, and not much is known about the person behind the illustrations. "I am an ordinary person who likes chemistry," he writes on his Twitter profile, but as you will see, his works filled with profound meaning are far from ordinary.
Avogado6 manages to create sentimental, vivid images by drawing feelings and emotions that are hard to describe with words. The drawing ideas might look simple at first glance, but they have incredibly deep meanings and, usually, are quite dark.
The artist has over a million followers on Twitter and has even published three books.

I don't understand why people think the grim reaper is bad. The grim reaper isn't the killer,he is just supposed to lead your souls right? When everyone is scared of the grim reaper they really are just scared of death

My art teacher told the class a story once. A father learned his son was being mean and rude to everyone in his town, basically a bully. The father said if the boy was nice to everyone for a year the could go to the playoffs. The boy would have to put a nail in a fence for each day he complied. He behaved the whole year and the father got the tickets, but also told the boy to take the nails out of the fence. The boy did it and asked why. The father said that you can apologize and take back what you said, but there will always be a hole there. I will never forget that story
So... that means that the perosn is trying to take out(forget) his pains, but the process is painful and the scars will be never gone.

Healing from trauma. It's so much more than jjst slapping bandaids on wounds; it's a struggle uphill the more you've been hurt, and sometimes the healing itself seems to hurt so much more than just staying in place. Every nail makes me think of someone who's been abused, representing thoughts like "You're never good enough" or "You're just lazy", etc, and it hurts like hell to confront them and can be so hard to overcome
trying to get rid of all the painful things.. but it’s hard and painful especially when all you have is yourself..
This one is somehow so creepy and ominuous. I wonder what the point is .. the feeling that everyone and everything is waiting for your mistake? One step aside and game over?

This one is so sad. I hate seeing parents with their little ones who just want their attention.. I hope to NOT be one of these parents. My children will ALWAYS be more important than my phone.
I see it as an isolation in her own world. The girl is so concentrated on her plans and goals (documents in her arms, money attached to her oxygen bottle) that she doesn't have time to enjoy the world outside her box and just live on. Maybe she even doesn't want to because it feels safer not to go out?
I was getting sick of these, because they always were about the evils of technology and how we don't communicate anymore. These are actually really original and really good.
It's even more true in Japan, where people communicate less and less... Even in the family circle, communicating gets more and more difficult, although not reaching the level of insanity as in Korea.
Load More Replies... It is like author took everything that is sad and depressing, embraced it and put it in the pictures. There is no hope in there, just endless depression. I wonder what is inside his/her mind, because some of these are really dark, almost morbid.
I agree. The author chooses to focus on death instead of embracing life. Yes, we will meet death one day, but there is no reason to rush toward it.

He may have had some bad experiences in his life. Maybe this is his way of dealing with it. For example, a lot of people with PTSD will use humour.
