Both, technically, sure to gravity being a measure that, without enough resistance, would be a constant acceleration. In the case of a bird of prey driving, they typically utilize the acceleration created by gravity and simply manipulate the amount of air resistance they are experiencing to change the speed of descent.

Those aren't Crows, they're Ravens. The feathers around a Ravens head and throat look more like scruffy fur than the larger sleek feathers on crows necks. They also have larger beaks and a larger stockier body and thicker legs and feet than Crows.
