Hi! My name is Żenia also known as The Lady Moth. I create sculptures, brooches, decorations, and other works of art inspired by the beauty of nature. They are needle felted and wet felted from wool and other natural fibers, such as silk or bamboo.
Much attention is put into detail. It usually takes several hours or even days to finish one of my carefully crafted felting wool pieces.
I am self-thought, that is why I am continuously enjoying the freedom of experimenting and learning. I love to use natural wool in various shades of grey, brown, and white for my adorable animals but I also enjoy experimenting with strong colors.
I have started my journey with these felted animals in December 2013. Since then, I keep learning... being enchanted with its magical process and endless possibilities. Since last year I have been teaching both needle and wet felting during my workshops in Cambridge, UK.
