I Illustrate My Experience As A Mom Of Two Boys In 25 Comics With A Feline Twist (New Pics)
I'm Chesca Hause—a mom who loves drawing cartoon animals. I managed to throw the two things together to create Litterbox Comics!
With the craziness of the past few months, I've been using my comics as somewhat of an escape. Humor is an important coping mechanism for me, so I've decided there is no pandemic in the "Litterverse." This lets the animals carry on with normal life and gives my readers a welcome break, even if just for a minute!

I made this mistake of over enthusiasm in the beginning of the word. It was in around 4th grade so I had little to no idea if the meaning. Let's just say I found out m true friends that day

I used to have to bite the tongue to stop myself from laughing when my daughter was breaking rules but doing it with style. Telling her no and then sneaking off to my bedroom to laugh in my pillow.

I use to sneak into the living room to watch my anime that came on at 12. My mom caught me, I went to be for five minutes then I was back out there. I sat really close to the screen and had the volume at 1.

my sister buried me alive when she was 8 she didnt know what she was doing and niether did i so i spent days litterally digging my own grave it worked out fine and i was found a few minutes later

My 11 year old son is stouter than his 12 year old brother. Like he has muscles. He loves yard work and things like that.My 12 yo picks on him. I've been waiting for the day my heart of gold stout 11 yo realizes he can take my 12 yo in a fight. Not real fight, but he could definitely put his brother in his place if he wanted to. One day soon it will happen.

To be persnickety, the baby in the first, the youngster in the second are calicos. Most calicos are female to the point that it's a real novelty to find a male calico. Male calicos are usually XXY and cannot procreate.

Tsk tsk tsk. Had to learn the hard way, lol. It is some of the stuff nightmares are made of. For those that are curious about hyena births, female physical anatomy is similar to that of a male meaning they have to squeeze a grapefruit through a birth canal 1 inch in diameter and out of something the size of a small pencil. Baby mortality rate is high due to suffocation during the birthing process. Hopefully that wasn't too harsh of a visual.

Male cats usually don't stick around either. I think in this comic universe all animals copy human social norms a bit more often than not.

Female hyenas have three times more testosterone than males, which results in a peculiar and risky labor process. Female hyenas give birth through their clitoris, also called a pseudo-penis. The birth canal of a hyena is only about one inch across, and consequently, many hyena babies do not survive

Yeah, me and my sibling call each other butt cheeks, booty holes, and, famous of all, nerds. I think it started when my oldest brother called my youngest brother a nerd, I was in the presence and decided to call my sister a nerd, and it stuck for the next 7 or so years. We still do it.

lol me too probably, i wouldn't do anything about it, they can eat when they want so long as i can see it's not all unhealthy and they do eat proper meals at least twice a day

Children will not voluntarily starve as long as food is made available. They might skip a meal out of petulance, but it won't kill them. I've reheated dinner for breakfast on more than one occasion, especially if it's something I know they've happily eaten on less crabby days. My kids are still very much alive.
