Well in Walking Dead they keep encountering roadblocks of 100's of discarded cars, making the road impassable. So there is that small problem. :)

That would depend on the cause of the apocalypse. Zombies/monsters/aliens - car wrecks. Deadly virus? Smoooooooth sailing.

Well the survivors would envy the dead, just sayin. Don't let zombie movies and other end of the world movies sway you from reality. You ain't gonna be Darryl or Legend (who sadly died in the end, thohgh he died a hero) no remaining humans would be reduced to mindless zombies competing for food and violently attacking eachother and destroying property. Much like now but worse. So I guess metaphorically we do have a zombie apocalypse >;3
