I guess the most amazing one...when I was a little kid my family was struggling. Sometimes my mom didn't know what we were going to eat the next day.
At a really low moment, our van broke and we didn't have money to fix it.
A friend we had met at church traded in his yellow Corvette for a Chevy Suburban and gave it to us. No strings attached.
I am still in awe of his generosity. We still have the Suburban nearly 17 years later.
Husband got laid off and friend showed up with $300 worth of groceries! Kept asking me while they were in the store what else we needed /wanted to make like a little easier… felt guilty for saying things but everything I asked for and more was delivered. Never asked for the favor to be returned!
