We Let Our Children Do Dangerous Things Instead Of Stopping Them (No Photoshop)
125Kviews
When our daughter Emilia was born, we staged this photoshoot that made it look like our little baby could fly. The pictures went viral. That was 2 years ago. Our kids grew. At some point we realized that there is one thing our older son Lenny really loves doing. It is jumping from all sorts of furniture and pretending he can fly. Of course his little sister is no different! And so every day the kids try to do something risky at home. We've spent a lot of time explaining our children that they have no real wings and it's dangerous to jump from any high furniture but of course they still keep forgetting.
One day we realized that we would say things like "Don't do that!", "You might hurt yourself!", "That's really dangerous" way too often. We were really tempted to let our kids do all those risky things without worrying that they might hurt themselves. And so we did it. We created a shoot where together with the kids, we were safely lying on our bed. The kids were having fun because it was a new adventure for them and we were really happy that they wanted to get involved in our project.
Emilia was really excited to see herself doing one hand handstand and Lenny said: "Daddy, look! I'm better than Ronaldo" when he saw his stunning overhead kick in the picture.
Sometimes it is enough to get a little bit creative to be able to do impossible things and make everyone happy!

It'd be more credible if there were coffee in that cup glued to the wall.
Dangerous? Cute - yes. clever - yes. Lying flat on a fake wall - not at all dangerous!! BUT ANYWAY, A GREAT SERIES OF PIX! Nicely set up, well-lit and photographed.
Folks... It's forced perspective: the 'floor' is actually the wall and the wall the floor/bed. Still very creative and the effect is awesome.
The authors claim in the title that there is no Photoshop confuses people.
Hi Iva. We didn't use PS to achieve the effect. We just took pics from above. So white background that you see is actually a bed :)
Evenmore, they lie to people with the title "We Let Our Children Do Dangerous Things Instead Of Stopping Them (No Photoshop)" so people jump in to see what dangerous things are these kids doing and their parents are not stopping them! what is it, WHAT IS IT!?... but on the pictures they are not doing any dangerous things, without that title, they wouldn't have anybody jumping to get and see the stupid photos. so YES THEY ARE LIYING! just to get the CLICKS and VIEWS! the best thing is they think is CUTE. the pics are LOVELY by the way!
Charles is absolutely right. It's a common photo setup that's been around for ages. The parents are technically not lying, but they are deceiving by implication. But so what? The photos are great fun and serve as an intelligence test to anyone looking at them.
This is pretty nifty
Nice photography :D
thank you :)
