This Japanese Hairdresser Proves That Hairstyles Are Important (30 Pics)
Hair is really important to many people. It may not seem so, but your whole vibe can change with just a hairstyle or color. However, not many people know how to take care of their hair or what fits them. That's when hairdressers come in to save the day.
Japanese hairdresser Sho Otsuki, who works at the Diece salon in Tokyo, is a professional when it comes to changing people's hair. Sho manages to transform people and make them look completely different. The stylist recently went viral on Twitter and Instagram because of his engaging and fun transformation videos. When people visit Sho's salon they are bound to leave with much more confidence and a smile on their face.

I feel like I already know her personality just from her smile and her haircut.
One of Sho's videos went viral on Twitter. In that video, Sho transforms a simple-looking man into a style icon. As of now, the video has gathered almost 14 million views, more than 200k likes, and many many amazing and fun comments!
Many other of his videos also gain lots of views. People enjoy seeing these types of transformations and seeing how happy and full of confidence people become.

I'm constantly amazed at how something as "simple" as just a haircut alone can seemingly alter a persons face to the point they don't even look like the same person who walked in. Like, if I had no background story and nothing but two separate photos side by side to look at of the before and after I could honestly say my first instinct would be "oh these are brothers?"

Not only does Sho make others look and feel better, he's quite the style icon himself. Many people notice that in almost every video, he looks different. The hairdresser enjoys changing up his own hair, rocking all sorts of styles, from short gray hair to long hair with highlights. I definitely think the new hairstyle frames her face in a better way. There was nothing inherently WRONG with her original style, I just personally think her facial shape suits a shorter hair cut in general. Looking great! :D

The picture after a hair cut is usually taken without the glasses to show off your face and how the style compliments your face and its features. It also helps to see the person's expression, like in this picture without the glasses. ㅋㅋ

I've had hair dressers do before and after shots for their instagram of me. They purposely messy or wet your hair and then take a unflattering before shot. Then ask you to smile for the after shot which they then edit.

Most of these results are dependent on styling. There's no way they all have the time, skill or desire to style that every day.

There is a tousled style or a brushed back style on most of them. A few others as well, but mostly the top two. Very repetitious. Very attractive models, though.
