That easy, huh? I'm experiencing a lot of jealous feelings right now. A. Lot.
I wish every community had not only a community kitchen/garden/pool but a community woodshop and craft room. Tools are so expensive, and it would be amazing to just have an idea, put pen to paper and go build it!

Like they say, if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself, after all.
Covid Gave Me The Time To Actually Make A Biz Out Of Woodworking. Biggest Seller By Far Is The Walk In Garden Bed. 20 Out The Door The Last Two Months!!
They say you loose money on the first, it’s the prototype after all and it takes longer to make. But you make up your money in the second and the third. 20 out the door in a month! That’s phenomenal! I bet you’ve got your lumber pre-cut and are “shittin’ n flying’” as they say.
i have never heard that saying before im deceased 💀💀💀

Cool concept but doesn't the lack of mesh on the door defeat the purpose of the rest of the mesh?
I think it's for veggies to grow upwards on, not to keep any beasties out

Final Project For My 2-Year Heritage Carpentry/Joinery College
I am so glad there are still people doing and appreciating this craft. When I was a kid I met several artisans in Rome that made and repaired marble statues and wood ornamental pieces for our old buildings. Their major complaint was that no one wanted to apprentice and learn the craft. I seriously thought about it, but then I was called to the army and things went another way.
Humanity needs you, people don't do work like this anymore, there is no pride in our work. It's all about how many can i make and how fast can i do it. You give me hope🙏

I read the title and assumed I wasn't reading it correctly. It took a little while to realize that the "water" was actually a glass table

Beautiful paddles. That is the type of gift someone would appreciate.
Beautiful. They will row in circles though. O wait; one of them is stronger than the other, so that person gets the smaller paddle. Nice 👍
I don't think I'd want to even put them in water. It would be nice to have copper-tipped bottoms on these to save them from rocks.
This Is A Figure For GF Who Is Having Difficulty From Depression
A very sweet gesture, especially with the ‘heart sign’ seen in the index and thumb fingers of the figurine
This isint just woodworking. The painting is great too! I could never paint that well on a 3D object
In 1993 Disney dubbed this for release under their contract with Studio Ghibli. It was held up for four years and finally released in 1997. The voice actress who dubbed for Kiki was Kirsten Dunst and she has been nicknamed "Kiki" ever since. With DVD/BR you can see either version. I recommend the subtitled version because other than Ms Dunst, the dubbed version is lacking. I remember buying a bootlegged video tape in late 1980s from a little store in San Jose, CA and for $1.00 more getting an English script to follow along. Good thing as my Japanese sucked at that time. The voice actress for Kiki also played Ursula. It's neat when you watch their scenes together. Takayama-san rocks. This is a great movie to watch whenever you are down in the dumps.
My Grandpa Died Three Years Ago. Today, My Son And I Played Around In His Shop Which Hadn’t Been Touched Since He Passed

Danish Cord Woven Meditation Bench Made From Ash Wood That I Made For My Final Project In Wood Shop Class
You've got to be kidding me. This much talent and skill at his age? I can't even begin to imagine what he'll be doing in 10 years. It's just not fair!
I’m trying to decide if legs like that can be made with a lathe? Someone who’s done it, help me out please. They’re beautiful! They really look time intensive too, especially in their uniformity.
I don't think they can be made with a lathe. Of course, I'm in no position to say that bc I didn't make that and I'm still a beginner when it comes to wood working

This is very cool! Love the design! Does the top thin shelf.have a function? I only ask because I think it would be perfect to have a flat drawer slide out with no sides on it to put prints or sketches in. Might be a little tall for that but, well done!
First Project Complete! Built This All By Myself At 6 Months Pregnant. Not Perfect, But I’m Very Proud
Woman, those shelves are fantastic. Do not be surprised if someone offers to pay you to build them bookshelves. Would love to see your next creation.
Shelves look great but the colour coded books freaks me out. If I finish the first book in a series I want the next one to be beside it, not have to remember what colour the cover is.
I LOVE THIS! And I love that you did it. Look at that crown molding! Look at how the shelf just continues around the corner without visible supports. Look at you, doing your thing, 6 months pregnant. 👏👏👏
Where is it not perfect? As they say with quilting, finished is better than perfect!

I Am A Legally Blind Visually Impaired Woodworker Here Is My Most Recent Piece I Am Quite Proud Of It Made From Padauk And Maple
Thank you for sharing! My grandma was completely blind from birth and the incompetency people assumed of her was pretty infuriating. Strangers would ask her how she got herself dressed. Can you dress yourself with your eyes closed? Come on people. She taught piano for a living and was a wonderful mother and seamstress, crocheter, cook and housekeeper. She used a typewriter to send letters to the sighted and used to read me stories in the dark. She was a talented person, as are you. I am thrilled that you are sharing your talent with the world. More need to know that blind people can do many amazing things.
People think disabled or alternately abled means unable but that's just not true! And those people, and I'm one of them, will make a fool out of them because you never know what people are capable of!

You are legally freaking amazingly talented is what u are!! I'm a true believer that when a person is born with a "disability", God always makes up for it by giving an abundance of ability in another area. You are clearly an example of this.
Finished This Retro-Style Commission Last Week For A 32” TV. The Customer Wanted The Aesthetic But Also Space For Consoles And A Sound Bar
I NEVER would have thought of something like this. That is just brilliant and so well done. If my aesthetic was 1960’s I would certainly want this; and hiding consoles and the like behind it… wow, just wow.
Fantastic! Can you make a 60" one? I think I could make a guest room out of it.
Scrollsawn Wall-E Art
Scroll saw NOT laser cut! Wow! How on earth did you get the details on Wall-E and the moon? You’ve got some fine, sharp blades and a steady hand my friend. Beautiful concept and beautiful workmanship.
I am such an idiot. I kept reading it as "#20 Scrollsawn Wall" and "E art". What the hell is a scrollsawn wall and I thought "E art" was some kind of NFT. I need more sleep. It's beautiful, by the way. I love Wall-E.
would you be willing to sell or create a website to sell from i wood love this for my mother
Using wood to commemorate WALL-E is a little awkward, but it's certainly done well!
A Close Up Of Interlocking Joinery Between English Brown Oak And Spalted Beech
This took me a minute but once I figured out what I was seeing - holy helll, that's insane!
It'sbactually just beech which had a fungal Infektion. Very gorgous, indeed (and it needs to be in the state where it is still solid enough, before the funghi destroy it completely)

Yea, I wonder how much something like that would cost. Wow

My Latest Baroque Mandolin
Ooooo. I want to play it. The work is beautiful! (I'm curious about what tone woods were chosen)
I Built Out My Camper Van With Spare Pallet Wood!
I would keep the lower cabinets and counter top only with a matte veneer, but I would paint other surfaces white. Would make the interior feel less crowded, more spacious, better lit and would actually bring out the patterns of the lower cabinets better.
Wife Liked The Look Of Some Epoxy Tables. I Said I Could Build One Better
8 months later and for the price to buy one, I finally finished 2 just before easter.
The dark resin (?) offsets the grain in the wood beautifully. Gorgeous.
And you did. I find most epoxy tables garish and destined to look dated. This is very elegant and well crafted.
My Girlfriend And I Wanted To Start Building Things Together, So We Built Our New Bed
That really is the best kind of relationship. My boyfriend of 18 years, and I spend so much time together building things, including a efficiency apt for a friend's daughter. We fish together, cook together, garden, etc. and never seem to tire of each others company. I've always enjoyed building stuff. He doesn't expect a perfect little house mouse, I thank the Lord every day, because I almost missed this one. Best wishes
Nice, I see you too come from the same electrical school of design. A warning: it will grow. You will buy cable organizers. They will eventually fail. You'll buy more. Those too will fail. Cut to the chase and move everything behind the headboard like I did. Use short screws, that too is from experience.
Bassinet For My Son Due In July
I see the Harry Potter reference. Sneaky sneak putting it in the shadows, but I see you!
Congratulations. The fact that you elevated this will make all the difference in the coming months.
The craftsmanship is amazing although it seems to have too many pointy features for something in a child's room.
My Wife Wanted A Table To Set Her Drinks On. So My First Epoxy Waterfall Table Was Born!
Absolutely stunning! How in the world did you join/do the sides!? The coasters look classy.
My Daughter's Boyfriend Asked Me To Help Him Build An Engagement Ring Box
When it's closed it looks like mountains and valleys. When it's opened a light turns on and illuminates the ring like a sunrise. It has a magnetic closure. We built it out of dark walnut wood. He gave it to her tonight
That's so lovely. Before reading the description I thought it was a tape dispenser, I'm so sorry! 🙈
Beautiful work and congratulations to the happy couple (assuming she said yes)!
What great design and engineering! But I really love that you both built it together for her.
I Made A Weird Spoon
You mean awesome spoon. Looks like it was mind bent or something.
My Chair
I have a strange urge to run my hand over those curves and smooth joins.
You are not alone. I'm just imagining how velvety smooth it all must be.
Load More Replies...LOVE! There is not room for error on a piece like this, and chair making is no joke. Decorative carving aside, I bet it’s the most difficult piece of furniture to make.

Cool, but get a stunt double when everyone throws their caps in the air. You don't want to hurt anyone.
I Made This Mountain? Sand Dune? Cutting Board
I wouldn't even use it as a cutting board. I'd hang it above my fireplace.
I could never cut on it. I would hang it on a wall. Beautiful piece of art.
I Would Like Your Thoughts On My Latest Cutting Board, Please
The cutout for the plate is a clever design. The woodwork and inlay is just stunning!
that is too pretty to use as a cutting board. it deserves a spot above my fireplace, not a kitchen bench.
I like the idea of having a detachable bowl to transport stuff
I am a woodworker and know that this took many hours and a lot of glue ups to finish this. It is exquisite. Well done!!
The Chevron Brick Bowl! I Cast These Maple Chevron Patterns In Purple Resin And Turned It Down To A Bowl/Plate
This is also nice, and I usually hate the wood + resin works that are all over youtube. This is very tasteful.
I'm not sure what I read, but I think it worked! This is ridiculously cool.
Chevron is the zigzag pattern, cast in resin is putting them in a box and pouring the purple plastic stuff all around it, “turned it down” means trimmed with a lathe to cut off all the excess resin and wood to make it’s final shape.

Much prettier than one for $10.00, for sure! Lots of sentimental value as well.
A “Chaos” Sideboard We Just Finished Up. Red Oak With Silver Grey Stain. Continuous Grain Door/Drawers
Can I just say how I love the fact you mentioned that you personally wouldn’t like it but you’re still appreciating the technique and effort. Thank you, there are so many people who’d wouldn’t like it personally and say stuff like “piece of c**p” or “waste of time cause it’s ugly” it’s nice to see someone who acknowledges the skill while not loving it for themselves

Cedar With Some Blue Stuff
White Oak Serving Tray
Very nice and elegant. I made one similar but I had a hell of a time finding decent handles. All that's out there are cheap, faux patinated metal that weighs as much as a coke can. Eventually I made mine of brass tubing and I am waiting for it to make a patina so I can paint it clear. There must be somebody that sells real hardware instead of the fakes.
I Built My Daughter A Lemonade Stand Using Her Old Loft Bed And She Named It
I LOVE IT!!!! I too am a big believe in Big foot! You go girl!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Guitar Build
Nice. I just bought a cheap semi-hollow telly to practice my lutherie skills and I was thinking of something similar. So far, I installed a brass nut (That I can elevate to play slide), locking tuners (I do that on all my restores now) and changed the neck humbucker to something a bit fatter. Next I am installing a 5 way switch to split the neck humbucker and I am loking into a thin humbucker for the bridge, but I'd really love to do something similar with the pickguard. Also love your bridge. Did you make it or did you find it like that?
Mario, if you are interested, OP explains and even has a YouTube series for this build. Just click on 'JeffHGW' under the picture posted here. It will take you to where BP found this beautiful piece on Reddit! 🙂
Load More Replies...I had a friend try to build a guitar years ago. VERY difficult. The body wasn't a problem, but he couldn't get the neck strengthened enough to keep tune (even with the reinforcement rod).
Beautiful! What tone woods did you choose? I would love to play this.
From OP.. "Some specs: Neck wood: Mahogany, Wenge Fretboard: Ebony Body Wings: Matai (Native wood of New Zealand) Pickguard is made from copper"

4 Years Worth Of Shop Class. Should I Have Pursued A Career In Woodworking?
My shop teacher told me to find a job that allows me to do woodworking as a hobby
Hobby huh? Remember that whose can - do. Those who can't - teach. This is stunning.
Spoken like someone who has never taught. It is a hard job that deserves respect.

Don't destroy what you do to relax to make money...enjoy yourself.
My Bed
I would make this into a canopy with this pattern over the bed, so it would not be hidden under the mattress.
Just Some Baseboard Fun
Beautiful craftsmanship but I hate the fact it's three different wood colours. White wall + gray floor 👍, white wall + brown stairs 👍, gray floor + brown stairs 😕

Beautiful work on this...the bindings around the body and work around the soundhole. I wish I could hear this when it is done. (Clever idea to use the innertubes as clamps!)
Wife: Let’s Buy This 99$ Dresser. Me: I Can Build One Much Cheaper. 2 Years And Several Hundred Dollars Later
It took two years for my husband to build a kitchen island. Thought we would divorce over it. We're moving soon and it goes with us. I would never get another one, or ask for another!
At least you're honest and that's so beautiful, I'd probably stomp down the urge to mock your estimating skills. Or not - I love a good mocking.
Hey, if we Men say we're going to do something, we're going to do it. No need to keep reminding us every year
Yeah, you can almost never build it cheaper... better, more fun, more personal, but never cheaper. :D

Scroll Saw Turtles
I might be terrible but I can’t believe this is scroll saw. This just has to be laser cut. There’s no shame in that, it’s a great design and execution, but scroll saw? The work is SO fine and detailed. Someone with more knowledge should weigh in. *edit, I was wrong. It can be done with a scroll saw.
I would disagree, marquetry has been around for centuries, and is a very intricately cut art form.
