This is a beautiful woman, and I am in awe of the skill. But I see this as purely a technical skill, not artistry. That doesn't detract from the amazement, but I think we shouldn't confuse it with artistry. I could be wrong. (And honestly, I have zero use for paintings, so I'd rather look at this and marvel at the skill than look at one of the "best" paintings in the world.)

Alpert, who works with many elite performers and leaders, suggests to "play it out in your mind and visualize the steps you will take on your big day."
"When you start to doubt yourself that only destabilizes your belief in yourself. Think of your belief as a table top with four legs. When you feel doubtful it is the equivalent of going over that table, grabbing a leg, and shaking it — it will make that table top (belief) less strong and less stable because you introduce negative thoughts into your mindset," he explained.

However, it's not just the preparation for and your performance that matter. You can also incorporate rituals or practices after you're done with it to improve further.
"It's not a bad idea to review your performance and try to understand what went well and what areas to work on," Alpert said.
"A performance can be diagnostic in some ways as it reveals what can be done to improve your game. Don't see any area of deficiency as a weakness, but rather as an opportunity for improvement that will make you stronger."

At an art gallery last weekend, I learned I am not a fan of photorealistic pieces of art. Sure, I can appreciate the incredible skill, and talent being employed to create them, but I want art that moves me. An example was a beautiful drawing of a rhino. It was excellent. However, the sculpture of a puma was 'distilled essence of puma'. It was a faithful reproduction, instead, it was an interpretation. That's what I like in art.

These are excellent and amazing! Here's something I made recently, it's a mushroom diorama that shows you the current weather outside. I made it with rubberized polymer clay to form the mushrooms and encapsulate the LED indicators It's powered by a microcontroller with a program that I wrote to retrieve data from the Internet. The top mushroom color indicates the temperature (the cooler the temperature, the cooler the color. The warmer the temperature, the warmer the color.) The left mushroom shows weather alerts - green = no alerts, yellow = weather watches, and red = major warnings. Finally the lowest mushroom indicates the humidity. The bluer the color, the more humid it is outside. I'm rather proud of it. https://i.imgur.com/57f457N.jpeg

Not a fan of hyper-realism. That serves the purpose for academia but has no heart. To be technically correct -- just take a photo, it's at least faster. Artistic interpretation says so much about the artists and the times. Much more personal. Art makes you see other things and dream . . .
