When anxiety forced me to drop out of my Philosophy PhD, I started trying to turn DrawingsofDogs, my little webcomic into more of a business. I now sell the comics on greeting cards and am working on a book.

Making jokes about dogs allows me to reflect on the oddity of human behavior.

Obviously these animals don't live in one of those countries that adds to the consumption of an estimated 25million dogs consumed a year.

I think that they really do. I knew of dogs who were aggressive only towards big dogs and others who were aggressive only towards small dogs, etc.

Our toilets are a bit different in Australia - full of much less 'waiting' water - so they just don't present as a huge, welcoming water dish (thank God!). The upshot is that almost no one has this problem with their pets. 👍🏽

I have a rescue from Croatia. "Pauli" spend the first 10 months of his life in a cage and didn't know anything when i got him. I expected him to go ballistic as soon as i turned on the vacuum for the first time. Well, he didn't. He just follows it around wherever it is going :)

Quite risky to have on like that when you have a puppy in your household, i heard lots of horror stories about it. I guess i would just vacuum manually until doggo is house trained 🙈 I would be too scared to ruin my whole house :D
