you can eat the yellow fruit just above the cashew nut , its very tasty. Very popular in south India, where village kids throw stones at these to eat cashew fruits .. the yellow / orange/ red (very ripe and sweet ) fruit bit and then collect the raw cashew (green nut) in bulk and sell them to the local trader for money. Or you can bbq them in fire , it release a puss before the cashew inside gets toasted , which you then open and eat. Guess thats why cashew nuts are expensive.

The yellow fruit is fleshy, edible but not something that I'd say is delicious. We slice it and sprinkle a bit of salt before eating. We roast the shell to get the nut out. When roasting the shell we also make sure that no chickens are around as the acrid smoke can make them sick.

The CFP franc (called the franc in everyday use) is the currency used in the French overseas collectivities (collectivités d’outre-mer, or COM) of French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Wallis and Futuna. Some kind of almonds (the bitter kind) are rich in a particular kind of enzyme that turns into cyanide when ingested by your own body, so 7-10 of them can kill a man. Anyways, only the sweet kind is sold in shops , for obvious reasons :) Those in the pic are sweet one, bitter ones have pink flowers.

Actually, the only difference is that white pepper has the outer skin removed before drying. The outer skin turns black when drying, and the outer skin colors the inside a greyish color as it dries.

black pepper, the fruit of the Piper nigrum plant a tropical vining plant that grows 12 feet tall They will ripen from green to red and can be harvested at these different stages. Most gardeners will harvest peppercorns when they begin to turn red. Dry peppercorns in the sun for about three days. They should turn black when completely dry. Grind them up to make black pepper. Remove the red hull to have white peppercorn, which has a milder flavor. Green peppercorns are harvested when still green. BurrowingN...f98e26.jpg BurrowingNematode081-58abb35f98e26.jpg

this is a kind of berry, with black purple skin and a white and very sweet flesh inside. It is delicious and it makes wonderful jam and drinks.

The German word for this fruit is ''Baumstammkirsche'' which means ''tree trunk cherry'' so Germans (knowing this name) shouldn't be surprised to see them growing like this :D

The tea tree camellia sinensis can grow like 17 meters tall. But is trimmed to stay below 2 meters, or 6 feet, for easier access to leaves. I dont know if "bush" is what I'd call it exactly.

What kind of tea? It is not tea tree. That is a different plant, with thinner leaves that you cannot make hot tea from.
