Many artists discuss difficult themes through their works, making their viewers think and look at problems from different angles.
Stephan Schmitz is a conceptual illustrator Zürich, Switzerland. Stephan uses colors, shapes, optical illusions and sometimes even visual puns to tell complex stories in single images. Most of his images have a surreal feel to them, showing what could hide behind the reality.
Take a look at some of his works below.

Impossible Love
There was actually a Greek myth about this, though slightly different. A sculpture wanted a woman that was perfect for him, and disliked all the women he knew, so he sculpted his ideal woman, with the wish she would come alive. The goddess of love, Aphrodite, granted his wish.

Misophonia - A Condition Which Makes You Allergic To Certain Sounds That People Make
I didn't know this was a thing- but now I think I have it. The sound of someone clicking a pen over and over-arghhh!
Being annoyed at a sound is not misophonia. Hearing something that makes you fly into anxiety, rage, anger, fear, makes you want to escape....that's misophonia. For me, it's people cracking their knuckles. When I hear people do it in the store, I quickly walk to the other side of the store away from them. I'm currently a college student and it seems the younger crowd does this constantly. I've had to ask students to give me a heads up before they crack their knuckles so I can cover my ears.
Load More Replies...A lot of people all around the world are allergic to the sound that Trump makes.
I'm glad that these common noises doesn't affect me; now, hyper children and boomboxes jerks are my pain. People don't get that silence is a blessing.
not necessarily allergic to, more like angered by as far as someone who has it. Tiny repetitive sounds made by people like tapping or screeching on a plate or something like that genuinely enrage me and it can really be difficult, especially with strangers and such
I have misophonia and it's very difficult everyday. I just can't stand to a lot of sounds and some just give me murderer impulsions, like I could slap someone. I'm also stressed and annoyed when doors are slamed, when trucks make a loud sound, or even when someone breath too close to me so I can hear it.
No one is going to see me. I have this condition and I feel so alone. I wish I could be saved-
Ok. So not allergic. It’s like when I hear a specific sound (eating, sniffling, swallowing, breathing, noses whistling, clicks, taps, and much more) it makes me want to explode. My body just like fills with a horrible feeling and I want to scream, destroy things, and murder people. Also, for me it’s not just noises, it’s the anticipation of the noises. And, certain visual things like leg bouncing and people moving their jaws. Honestly writing this, I feel like I make it seem like a smaller deal than it is. It makes life pretty hard.
I have this. Everyone is annoyed by certain sounds: pen clicking, chewing with your mouth open. But if you can become irrationally upset at certain ways voices sound, or at certain words, or even the faintest background noise if it's at just the right level, it can be a real problem.

Ooo this one's cool. There is a certain charm in decaying places though. They are sad, yes, but it's always like they hold some sort of mystery and even if you know most everything about them you just can't help wondering - who lived there, what did they do, like, hate? What memories do these crumbling walls keep? With a non-abandoned place, even if it's old but renovated and all, you just don't get that vibe somehow.

Graves Disease
For each person I've met with Graves Disease, they each seem to have their own story of how the disease affected them. Mine goes in remission for long periods of time, only reactivating during times of extreme stress. I had none of the eye problems, but developed some strange skin issues. My biggest hurdle has been trying to get doctors to stop dismissing my every complaint as 'Oh, that must be the Graves.' and also, people close to me dismissing my emotions as 'Oh, that must just be the Graves'. I never let them burn out my thyroid.
Worker Safety
Unlawfully Fired
We need to push for more unions. It's long past time for workers to unite and use our powerful aggregate voice to finally swing the pendulum away from management and back to the workers where it belongs. I've worked union jobs and, believe me, I never felt more secure at work. I'm not one to misuse privileges, and it felt good to be recognized as such, rather than treated like an expendable idiot child.

This makes me think of my son's future. What kind of work will there be? If any? He is 14 and i am so worried. People of my generation are having to move back home and there are millions of us fighting for the same jobs. Truly a scary thought.

Another one where it starts off great then becomes very shallow and pointless further down. I wish people who do these would learn when to stop.
On this trend the contents is very dense. It would have been a good idea if people could express themselves on each illustration because they are very good and each one is an invitation to discussion. ;)
I feel like, without the titles, some interesting / better discussions could have been opened. Though often discussions do not end very nice/well over here. So even this is debatable.
