It hurts me when I see other queer members being hateful. Against bi, or straight, cis etc. The queer community has bene and is still very hated. We should be wiser than that.
When I was growing up/coming out, there were only two letters in the rainbow alphabet - G and L. And it was thought to be a "lifestyle choice. That attitude has pervaded, particularly among holier-than-thou Christians. News flash. It's NOT a choice. Could you, as a cishet male or female, choose to be attracted to someone of the same sex? I'm betting the answer is "no way!"
Hearing that is is a phase is so common and hurtful. Also, a lot of people say that omnisexual and bisexual people are homophobic, which doesn't even make sense, and is obviously not true
There is this one kid in my homeroom and they identify as non-binary. They are so cisphobic that I am getting hated on for being omnigender because I am supposedly confirming to their agenda to misgender everyone. I’ve told them to just stop doing it because it is causing hate but they just won’t stop!
Also being told my dysphoria is invalid because I’m omnigender.
Being told I’m biphobic because I’m pansexual
Getting hated on for not accepting dreamsexual/dreamgender
That Vegan Teacher saying I’m selfish
The straights asking for straight pride.
Told I handle controversial stuff well because I want my own rights
If the vegan teacher insults you you're doing something right.
“You’re married to a man? So you’re straight now?” Ugh. No, my sexual orientation isn’t dictated by my current partner’s genitalia. But thanks for asking. Also, being bisexual is hard enough without people thinking that’s it’s an open invitation to try to f*ck me whenever they want. Just because I’m attracted to men and women doesn’t mean I’m promiscuous and even if I wanted to be it’s still my decision who I’m with. It doesn’t mean I’ll be with anyone. I still have standards and I still get a say.
