I work with a few shelters n rescues and it's now a rule that I'm not allowed to foster torties because I fall in love and don't want to give them up... n I already have a large feral colony n 8 house cats.. haha. They're the best. They're so quirky and weird. They're just the strangest little creatures. They're their own species.

Reminds me of the story of the Mandarin whose kitten fell asleep on his kimono sleeve. Rather than disturb the sleeping creature he cut off the sleeve of his expensive robes. You can see this person isn't disturbing his baby. So sweet.

Lulu's just...fell out. Well, all her smaller teeth, she still has her fangs and she shows affection by chomping on your nose. She had a rough life, but she's the happiest girl in the world now. She's an adorable little snuggle monster. That's light on the tongue, she'll let it hang out of her mouth a couple inches and look like a dog. Whenever she gets a long belly scratch she her purring starts to sound like a chirpy....swamp monster and she just melts.

We had her and her brother for about 6 weeks, we tried to place them together, because they were very attached to each other but her brother got adopted first (and due to the idiocy of the person who adopted him, dove out a 5th story window and had to be put down. On the first day) once separated from her brother she latched onto me. Hard. If she wasn't curled up in my lap or next to me, she would howl, try to claw doors open for hours on end and just generally be an anxious nightmare. The first time she lasted a week before getting returned. The second time she only last a few days. So we had to accept that she made it clear where she wanted to be.
