Who thinks mothers should pay child support? I have two kids who are well over 20 now and my kids' father took them the last 4 years of their childhood to seek child support from me when I never went to court to seek any from him and now has a stop on my life cause I do not think he should be given a dime from me and cause he owes me so long story short. Bothers me that a man can even go after a woman for child support seeing where was he at when it came to how much it took a woman to care for and protect that child from anything that can harm the child while growing in her stomach. He doesn't have to go through the mental, physical, and health issues that come from that only the mother does, or if they end up with post pardon wth! It changes a woman completely to carry a child for the man for the rest of their life whether their there or not. How do they have to pay for that? Tell me if I'm right or wrong.

It depends on who has custody. If the father has court ordered custody, why wouldn’t the mother have to pay child support? You think women shouldn’t have to contribute financially to the upbringing of their children? Is this a real question?

Shockingly, a child is the child of BOTH PARENTS, not just the father (we aren't talking parthenogenesis here.) Both parents are obligated to care for the child's wellbeing.
If the father is the parent who has legal custody, then the mother should have to pay child support, and vice versa.
Why should it be skewed towards one gender over another? That's sexism.
