Could you guess by people's fridge what country they're from, or where, at least, they currently live? This is not a classified ad for psychics, this is a genuine question that a person asked on our community.
Some indulged in satisfying the curiosity and submitted the contents of their fridges. Some tidy, some messy; some full of healthy stuff, and not-so-healthy stuff; some were stacked and some were modest; some honest and some clearly a joke—in short, all kinds of refrigerators. My grandmother was born and raised in the colonies. It doesn’t mean that we eat Dutch-Indonesian food all the time, but certain items like ketjap, sambal, ginger and atjar are indeed very common in our fridge!

Having lived there for 29 years, I always picked up fresh ingredients at either the market or the grocery store just for that day. Stocking up was only on drinks, condiments, etc.

So relieved to know our fridge condiment wise is not as crazy as I thought, although we do have more than most posters, our fridge is easily one half condiments and pickled stuff.
I'm a little surprised at how many contain mostly condiments. I don't know why. I just am... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
