This Cat Is Taking Over The Internet With His Hilarious Facial Expressions Despite His Problem
Rexie is living proof that disability does not mean inability. You see, even though this 3-year-old kitten has a broken backbone and can't control his two back legs, he has a unique and upbeat personality nonetheless. In fact, the cute cat's little face is so full of expressions, and people have nicknamed him as the Cat-King Of Bleps.
In an earlier Bored Panda submission, the house cat's owner Dasha Minaeva claimed there's a kind of meowdel-photographer relationship between them. "The outcomes are never disappointing!" she said.
Rexie was only a baby when his previous owners badly mistreated him, leaving the poor kitty paralyzed and having other cat health problems. Over time, however, the tabby cat had learned to live life to the fullest regardless of his condition. "He doesn't even know he's handicapped," Dasha tells Bored Panda. "He does all the things other funny cats do. Only he's unable to use the toilet or scratch his ears on his own. But that's what his human is for!" Dasha adopted the kitty after it was rescued and they have been inseparable ever since.
At first, Minaeva got her pet cat a custom wheelchair to help the creature get around the house. But it soon proved to be of little use. "He does way much better without [it.] Cats are very independent and adjust perfectly. Rexie is more mobile and comfortable walking and running on his two feet."

Very cute, this type of expression HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY in a cat when his WISKERS are caught/stuck in a certain position (& before they are freed). People who have had cats, know this... but that doesn't mean we don't APPRECIATE the cuteness just the same!♥

Dasha deserves a humanitarian reward for giving this amazing kitty a lovely life. Just look how happy he is. People who mistreat small animals like that frequently grow up to be serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer.

This cat is amazing!! Animals never cease to amaze me. I'm disabled myself, and I have read so many stories about animals with disabilities that live a normal life, that I have started to believe it myself. My attitude has changed, and I look at life with new hope after seeing animals like Rexie own it and be who they are.

omg this is the best thing I've seen on the internet in a very long time. He is so precious. I'm so glad someone was able to save him. It takes a special person to care for a disabled pet and you can feel the love you have for him through these beautiful pics. I have 2 brothers, who are 3, that were found under a friends shed (with 2 others) when they were only about 10 days old. she bottle fed them and kept them alive. I adopted two. I'm this disabled one in this picture but my two boys are like therapy cats. They know when I'm having a rough day and won't leave my side. They are the most lovable cats I've ever had. Follow me everywhere like a dog. lol!. just love them like crazy. She kept the only female. Mind you the girl is a dog person and never had a cat before in her life. But, she fell in love!!!!! I sure hope the person/people who abused him were charged.
