Who do you want to be, a baker or a designer? To this question, Holly Fox would answer "both". To her, it's when you mix and match, that something interesting happens, and in this case, it's not only interesting but also tasty!
Los Angeles-based graphic designer Holly Fox merges her passion for colorful designs with baking, and the results are these adorable sugar cookies: "I started baking about 5 years ago on a whim, to try and see if I could figure out this whole royal icing thing. Since then, I have been mixing many, many colors and piping many, many jewels…and I absolutely love it!"
If looking at it is not enough, you can head over to Etsy and get a batch of cookies for a... closer inspection.

I suppose she first did the colour of the cookies and then decided which Pantone code suites them best :D There are plenty to choose from!
Load More Replies...Ah! The good old Pantone colour swatches. Brings back memories of the Graphic Design days.
Love these! Pantone colors are the standard for print design. Instead of 4 color process (CMYK) which can vary by printer you can use a Pantone spot color or two to guarantee accurate print colors. Every print designer has a book of swatches and can use them to guarantee a print color. You would use mostly for branding or logo design.
These kinda remind me of when you get those samples of the color of what the paint would look like if you bought that to paint your walls...
This is amazing! Love it, love it, love it! Would love to have it on my Christmas table.
That reminds me of ice cream... and then I see it's actually balloons...
These cookies are so PERFECT. Are they made with fondant? I want to learn how, can you tell me?
These cookies are pretty cool, though they are too precious to be eaten :9
Cuteness overload! Even the pics are too cute to set as wallpaper (and also to be eaten)
Love them! Those perfect lines and the level of detail is so satisfying
These are absolutely wonderful! Love them all, especially the flamingo and pineapple cookies.
I am making $89/hour working from home. I never thought that it was legitimate but my best friend is earning $10 thousand a month by working online, that was really surprising for me, she recommended me to try it. You will lose nothing, just try it out on the following website. ------------ www.social36.com
Was looking for creative ideas as was just about to bake some biscuits but these are all thick sugar coated art. Very well done art but I want oat choc chip, Speculaas or doodled digestives.
These are beautiful! Looks like a lot of work to create these awesome cookies, so I can understand why they aren't cheap. This is so perfect for a themed party!
