We know how much you love some good, relatable comics, dear pandas. That's why we would like to share with you a collection of the most recent works by the Indian artist Shilpi Samson.

As she told us during our last interview: “My comics are about the simple problems which people, especially women, face in their day-to-day life, presented in a light-hearted manner. Even though they are based mostly on my own life experiences, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of people who could relate to them. This in itself fueled me to do more!"

The author of the 'Survive office doodles' series has doubled her number of followers on her Instagram since we featured her chuckle-worthy comics in our previous Bored Panda post, so make sure to check it out if you missed it.

So, basically we should all learn "the 3 Rs " and remain in ignorance about everything else? Yes, children should be taught practical skills but they should also have a basic knowledge of history, geography, science, etc.

It's important to know about science, history geography etc. It makes us part of the human community. Yes, practical knowledge is important of course, but education is about more than that. I am sure all the flat-earthers, anti-vaccers etc out there are great with their taxes....

School is supposed to teach you to think laterally. So, let's say you don't know how to do something, like solve a math problem or do your taxes, the solution is the same... ASK FOR HELP!!!

Bored Panda reached out to Shilpi Samson to ask some questions about her recent work. First, we wanted to know what the author of this relatable series considers the most rewarding aspects of being a comic artist. Samson shared with us: “For me, it is the ability to connect with people through humor and relatability. Seeing the laughter and smiles my comics bring to readers is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, the creative freedom to express my thoughts and ideas in a visual, often whimsical, form is a unique and gratifying experience.”

Asked how her style evolved over time, and what factors influenced these changes, the artist answered: “It has evolved over time due to various factors. Initially, my style may have been influenced by the artists I admired and emulated. However, as I gained experience and confidence, my own unique voice started to emerge. Feedback and reactions from my audience have also played a role in shaping my style. It's an ongoing process, and I'm open to experimentation and growth, which keeps my work fresh and engaging.”

We were curious about Shilpi’s favorite tools or software that she finds essential for creating her work. The artist said: “I do have some go-to tools and software that are essential to my comic-making process. I've primarily been using Procreate for creating most of my comics, and for animated ones, I used to work with Adobe Animate. However, due to limited access to my computer these days, I was in search of animation software that's convenient and well-suited for my iPad. Recently, I've started using Callipeg, and it has proven to be a handy and effective solution for my needs.”

Samson added: “That said, I still value traditional tools like pens and paper for the initial concept phase and sketching.”

Lastly, we asked if there is any dream project or collaboration that Shilpi hopes to undertake in the future. The artist told us: “I aspire to create a comic strip for a major publication or platform that can reach a wide and diverse audience, marking a significant milestone in my career. Beyond that, my dream project could be having my own merchandise brand, allowing fans to enjoy my comics in various forms, from t-shirts and mugs to posters and more.”

I think the reason so many of us are screwed up is that our parents, Ave their parents, all the way back through history had to wing it without the benefit of a global network of actual experts and different perspectives. They just either did exactly what their parents did, or the OPPOSITE of what their parents did, and hoped for the best. Now there's are lots of resources available at the click of a button, so there's no need to pretend to know everything so your kids will respect you and see you as an adult!

I have a timber front door and a security screen door with an auto closer. A while back I got distracted with a phone call and then left in my van neither closing the front door nor locking the security door. Arriving back home late afternoon and realising I hadn't locked the security door, opened it and the front door was wide open, my heart skipped a beat thinking I had been broken into ... only to then realise I hadn't locked up. I have been super careful to double check since then (until the next time it happens, of course)

Lock it with you your opposite hand. With exception of OCD and anxiety disorders...Most moments like this occur due to muscle memory. Or in other words, your body is running on autopilot. So if you use your "off hand" locking it differently than you normally do, it makes your brain come out of coast, and register the action you took. This is also a good thing to do in general for other aspects of your life, like brushing your teeth, plugging in your phone, or other small tasks, as evidence has shown that activating those normally unused portion of the brain is good for preventing dementia and other mental decline.

I do this at my favorite gas station. but I always take my drink from the end of the line so that the staff don't have to move the goods to the front because of me.

Right now, where I live in Australia, there are wildfires going, but its also raining, so the sky is grey with smoke and clouds, and the air smells like rain and smoke, HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?!?!?

Why is it so hard to put the seat down, when the previous visitor has forgot to do it?

Why can't you put it up? Or learn to deal with the lid also being closed from then on. Toilet plume is a thing.

Why can't she leave the seat up when she's done? Why even have a seat at all? Why even have a toilet?
