I own one of these and mine works as shown and I have 3 different color bulbs to change out for different look white as shown, blue, & a off white yellowish color. There are about 10 different versions of this each made by different company with different features and some are complete garbage others made very well with pricing ranging from $5-55 dollars the most expensive one is remote control and uses 1 bulb that can be changed by 7 different color settings and has a mode where the unit rotates.

I had one, but it wasn't as good as I thought...I got rid of it very soon
