My own mother had issues with my heterochromia and would regularly tell me to get contact lenses of the same color as soon as I could (the more traditional Asian mindset typically discourages unusual things). I brushed her off, since I couldn't change my eye color, so I didn't care. As an adult, I appreciate it much more because other adults now stop, stare, and smile when they notice.

My son cried after getting a haircut (that he wanted and enthusiastically agreed to) because after the fact, he was afraid his classmates would tease him for it. Kids will tease over literally anything. I agree though, his eyes are beautiful.

Humans bully anyone who does not look or behave as others do. Even so called "very attractive" people get bullied too because they are so unique and/or people are jealous. You need to look and behave EXACTLY like anybody else to fit in and not get bullied. When you get older you can become a celebrety or model and then get more positive attention.. and everyone will like you because you are sooo unique.

What a precious couple those two! Kids can be so cruel, the boy has beautiful eyes! I was bullied for being the tallest girl in class, also add freckles and you're in for a treat :/ Now at the age of 30 I love being tall and I'm constantly complemented for my freckles so I guess it all turned out fine for me. The kid is going to be a heart stopper when he gets older :)
