I'm sure the majority of women around the world can agree on one thing: periods suck. Period. Even if you try to encourage yourself that someone has it worse than you, it's hard not to be angry with mother nature when the period cramps meme-worthy pain hits.
Periods were considered a stigma, and it's only now that we can talk about it freely. While men, including your significant other, just cannot stomach a little blood, these funny period memes are guaranteed to make you laugh.
To make that time of the month a bit more tolerable, Bored Panda collected some of the best period comics. Being a woman myself, it's just too easy to relate to these cringe-worthy yet so hilariously correct period memes. Well nice if your period comes on schedule you're actually very lucky because I have never come on schedule. My body menstruates whenever the hell it likes and doesn't care if the last time was 3 months earlier or even a week (I had periods with only 1 week in between) and the only thing I actually am able to count on that it'll last exactly 7 days. The doctor told me I should take the pill. So I take this already a couple of years. And it's pretty much okay. At least the convenient thing about the pill is you can play a little in your schedule so I never have to get my period while going on holidays.

True. I take pills too and my periods are as precise as a computer. I know EXACTLY when it comes PMS too. Always hits at the same pill.

I go to church camp over the summer and we (everyone there, I’m from Florida) go to North Carolina to hike up the mountains every day. I swear every year I’m on my period the whole time. It lasts five days. Which one, you ask? Both. There for 5 days. Have my period for 5 days. Both day 1s are the same! Went to a wedding and the day of the wedding I went swimming beforehand because it was on the beach. The night before, the day we got there, it started. Pain the whole time. And this is normal.

You wanna talk period problems I had mine on my wedding and honeymoon with a hormone imbalance also how I managed to keep it off my dress is some kind of miracle I’ll never understand like this is how I know god is real lolbs Disney Wedding and freaking period time guess what happened fast forward to the day I was home yup the dang thing stopped dead in it’s tracks it waited till I was home to finally stop but I did luck out it let up an extreme amount before walking down the aisle I guess prayers do work! I take my nuva ring out a week early and thus have my period a week early so I don't have my period while on vacation. This is an advantage of certain birth controls.

Since I never go anywhere on my vacation, I'd rather have it while on vacation then have to deal with it at work where I'm bending, squatting, etc. while wearing khakis ( I work in a grocery store) and hoping like hell that I didn't leak.

It always made me laugh how women in Tampon/Pad commercials are always running around frolicking happily on the beach or playing sports... such falsities. That's not gonna sell me your product... but strapping a MONSTER sized candy bar, with a bag of Cheetos and a tissue for all the tears coming.... will.

Period time. I was in so much pain this morning! General discomfort and feeling low and crying. After popping all the pills I could legally take and still no effect, I figured I could wash my brain and pain away with good old comedy and searched for bored panda. This selection of comics was literally the first thing I saw and felt so rewarded! Thank u! I might shed a tear...of course, it's the hormones again.

Oh please God let it come faster... at 52 there is much more of every bad thing and it even sometimes comes twice... and ovulation feels like a meteor burning its way through to the outside while being smacked with a ball ping hammer...

Hi Julija. The title of your article caught my eye. This article is not about women. It is about people who have or currently experience periods. Some of my friends can relate to this article just as much as me and they do not identify as a women. It is important to think about the ways you are excluding or including people in your title. Please think about this when you come up with a title. This article is about an experience. That experience relates to lots of different people who identify on a large spectrum. Thanks!

It´s usually assumed that all women suffer painful periods, while it´s actually about 50%. Of course even this is too much, but I wonder if the reason for this wrong assumption is that we, the lucky half, keep quiet for fear of appearing unsympathetic.

My periods used to last around 10 days and some months it would cause me to have seziures (I'm epileptic). It was suggested I try the mirena coil which has stopped the bleeding but I still be aching, bloated, spotty and will go full on psycho in the blink of a eye. Why oh who does mother nature hate us?
