OMG! Read the story. The sisters cut off bits of their feet to get the shoe on. And the step-mother hands them the knife. THEN the Duke gives the shoe to Cinderella (Ashputel) to try on. He is reassured when the birds signal their appoval!?!??!?! And at the weddig, the two sisters are attendants and peck out the inside eyes of the sisters as they walk up the aisle. And they get the other one on the way back. I guess the sisters don't say anything. And they all lived happily ever after.
Sounds like the kind of convenient excuse a foot-fetishist would make..."uh yeah, i just have to fondle the feet of every girl in the magic kingdom"

Yeah and even when he sees her he’s not sure. Surely he would recognise some people as not looking like her at all and those who bare a resemblance!
What's also shocking is that NO ONE in the entire kingdom wore the same size shoe as Cinderella.
Disney and Perrault forgot to say that the Prince is (very) shortsighted...
He was probably drunk off his ass - one of the consequences of having a royal ball with a free bar...
At least The Hunchback of Norte Dame had a nicer ending than the book...
He also dethroned an incompetent ruler who lived in incredible wealth in a castle which occupies half of the city while his soldiers brutalized the local homlesses.
