I'm a 20-year-old guy from Croatia who loves drawing, music, and movies. I love dark humor and I try to make the best of it in my little funny comics. I somehow managed to get people to follow my cartoon drawings and they motivate and inspire me every day to make more of these dark comics on a regular basis.

Not just phone companies. Aaaaall companies. They figured out long ago, if we make indestructible products, people will buy it once and that'll be it. If we design stuff to break after a while, then those same people come back and give us more money. Technology is the WORST when it comes to this mentality.

This happened to my dad a while back, and so when I was little a drew a picture of my dad with a big bushy glamorous beard and underneath wrote "the dream" and then I drew my dad with a pathetic stubble and underneath wrote "the reality"...

HP Lovecraft was a writer of a particular type of gothic horror/sci-fi fiction (I've read very few of his books-it's not my fave genre- I'd describe it as similar to Poe on Mushrooms). He is not very well known in the US (other than in the creative community) but I understand that his work is very popular in other countries- France in particular. *note to self- put some Lovecraft on this summer's reading list*

These days Bored Panda is flooded with such dark comics and each and every of them is such a masterpiece. Its amazing how such creative people are able to find out humor out of such dark and sad situations. Sometimes reading them I choke on my coffee, sometimes I get weird stares from my co-workers for laughing out loud like an idiot. Thank you to all you creative people out there for making us laugh.
