We took a lot of heat from dog owners after our last post about dogs that immediately regretted their poor life choices, so we decided it was time to spread the heat: this is Bored Panda's ultimate list of cat-fails!
Maybe cats are more agile, and maybe even more clever, but that just means that there's that much more trouble for them to get into. Have you ever caught your cat in a predicament? Post your photos below, or vote on your favorite!

the kitty could very well be neutered.. my neutered male looks the same way, i had to call and check w the vet to make sure they actually did the surgery! :)

This is extremely dangerous for a cat even though I've seen videos that cats can go through half opened windows it's still dangerous because they have pressure in their body when they squeeze through

to all people freaking: you can easily prevent this with some glue and a piece of screen like in a screen door. or one side glue and the other side velcro. thats how we did it for the past 20 years (I was actually the reason. put my little baby hand in the window and fell. lacerated my wrist. SO. MUCH. BLOOD.

Cats enjoy being outside naturally....they love the earth,the sunshine,the grass and also killing s**t. This is natural. I hate the self righteous animal rights activists who assume they know what's best for God's creatures. They prefer trees to toxic carpet covered plywood...I could go on but chew on this for now.

Most of these are horrible, cruel & verging on animal abuse. Yes, some of 'us' may find them funny, but there are a number of pictures where the cat must have been 'assisted' into the position & are clearly terrified. Not funny, not funny at all.

Even if none of the cats weren't put in these positions by people, several of them are very clearly terrified or in pain, and the fact that their owner decided to take a picture instead of helping the poor thing is bad enough.

Most of these are entirely possible. I have had quite a few cats, and if there was an internet and you'ld see some of the stuff THEY got into, you'ld laugh your butts off. I actually had a cat that (with help of my dog, could open the fridge. Yeah....Really.

It really looks like some of these cats are forced into these situations. Couldn't imagine a cat getting into a jar like that by itself - and the saran wrap??? These are cruel pictures.

Do any of you own cats???? I can totally see mine doing some of these things on their own. I used to live around the lizards, so as curious as cats are I can totally see a lizard getting a cat by the nose. Don't be so hasty when your not sure of the facts!

Every single time something like this happens 90% of the comments are "OMG HUMANS ARE SO HORRIBLE PUTTING THEM IN POSITIONS LIKE THIS!" Fact of life people: Animals can sometimes make stupid mistakes just like people can; and while some of these look setup (like the cat hanging in a bag on the door); the majority of them could easily happen. If you've ever owned a pet; you'd know they all tend to do funny or random things or sleep in the most random spots. This doesn't always mean the owners are intentionally abusing them. Or are humans all evil, and have to be blamed for all situations animals get into?

I don't think any of these are funny. I really think Bored Panda used poor judgment with both this page and the dog one. All we need is any more excuse for people to hurt, abuse or neglect animals.

If none of these pics were "staged" than the only conclusion I can come to is that the myth of cats being smarter than dogs is false. What IS true is they are more curious and agile and therefore can get into worse situations than dogs... but all in all, they are truly lovable companions!

it's not right, it is your duty to drop that camera and keep that cat from getting hurt. i mean who throws a sowball at a cat? that is not entertainment. maybe a fluffy one is ok? the lizzard looks painfull? great lighting.

my cat, Tiger, was always in some predicament. There was the time he jumped in the fridge and i didn't notice and was there all day while I was at work. Once he was stuck under the recliner all day. One night he was between the screen door and the regular door all night. He rubbed against a candle and singed himself. He got himself stuck in the water bottles like the one above. He was the epitome of curiosity killed the cat. He lived though until he died from cancer. That was a few years ago, but I still miss him.

These mainly looked staged, which is tantamount to animal abuse- especially those where they are trapped in situations that could lead to suffocation or injury. The fact the viewer's focus was getting a photo before aiding the animal is horrifying. This content should be removed and apologies given. As a pet owner, amusing pictures can make people smile, but these in some cases are extremely irresponsible and provocative.

many of these photos are far from being funny,humans have deliberately put the poor cats in some of these positions and should be prosecuted ,and this site should be ashamed to show them, I honestly thought at the start they were just photos of cats who had somehow got themselves in a pickle ,and am shocked to see what has ben done to the cats
